In need of updating & refreshing

Late check in is a joke in winter too dark to see lodge numbers signs not clear at all. Cleanliness was not good got dog hair on me, did not have a dog!! Cleaning Seal was broken on door when we arrived. Water boiler was scolding hot just an accident waiting to happen. Bed was very small had plenty room for a bigger bed. Log burner was great for the cold nights. Lodges had some holes in exterior walls some had been repaired others had not. Mediocre restaurant for the price. Needs serious updating!

Chalets are showing their age and are in need of not only remedial work but concerted updating. Rotten railings and poor condition entrance steps were the first obvious signs. Furniture is dated and sagging, and carpets should be renewed. Size of unit was good and was well equipped. winter break

Ideal time to visit. Excellent facilities. The property was well appointed and warm. Big rooms. Lots to do and see in the area. Walked to Aviemore. Bought Walkers shortbread. Visited the Highland wildlife park and Grantown East. Ideal time to visit. Excellent facilities. The property was well appointed and warm. Big rooms. Lots to do and see in the area. Great location but resort a bit tired.

We enjoyed our stay here but were very disappointed with the standard of cleanliness. We found a dog chew bone in our bed settee in the middle of the mattress! Dog hairs on soft furnishings and kids toy found under sideboard. Beds were comfortable but what was called a three bedroom house was really a family room with bunk beds and a double. Quality Resort in a country setting

Beautiful location with a full range of facilities (golf, gym, restaurant, bar etc) and probably only 15/20 minutes walk to Aviemore Town centre. Many excellent forest walks within easy reach. We visited a number of surrounding towns and villages with one of the highlights being Nairn which has miles of fantastic beaches.
