great time

my boyfriend and I spent an incredible week at the SEA PALACE RESORT. We had a 1 bedroom apartment, 2 baths, full kitchen, overlooking the beach and board walk. due to Covid the beach and board walk were not crowed which we enjoyed very much. The place was very clean and the service was excellent. I would recommend this resort to my family and friends without reservation. my boyfriend and I spent an incredible week at the SEA PALACE RESORT. Much better than expected

We spent 2 weeks at the Sea Palace, the first week was spent in a Studio facing the mountains and Great Salt Pond, the 2nd week we had a one bedroom overlooking the beach. Due to damage done by Hurricane Irma the hotel has had plenty of repair work done and we were very pleased with our rooms. The maids emptied the trash daily and any issues we had such as the TV remote and problems with the safe were promptly dealt with. The staff on the main desk were also very obliging, and added to a very nice time at this resort. The location of this resort is ideal for both walking the boardwalk and also right at the start of the shopping on Front Street. The resort also has their own section of the beach with loungers and umbrellas setup each morning. The only downside was that there is only one small elevator but with only around 40 rooms there was only a couple of occasions we had to wait for others to get the lift and send it back down. The Basics

The hotel is at end of boardwalk which is still far from recovered. Beach and water were both beautiful and tranquil. Room was spacious with nice shower. Balcony overlooked a run down main street or destroyed buildings from hurricane. Not much open but understand it was September. One breakfast place open before 10 AM on beach and quite good ( Lizzy's ). basically no breakfast at hotel and a Chinese restaurant that did not have a sole in it all week. Front desk girls were very helpful and organized although still waiting for receipt from Covid test to leave island. Best meals were at Emilio's and Holland house on boardwalk. Worth the visit

The location is great, very clean, and well kept inside and out. Staff was friendly and helpful all the time. My room was spacious and had all the material needed to make meals from A to Z, and out door Grills. The pool was clean and maintained. The beach was a tad rocky as was walking into the water one must be aware of the rocks to stub ones foot. The Pool bar was so/so, and limited in bar foods, and a tad expensive. Plus they didnt have or wouldnt allow charging to one room. So you must bring cash or credit card. The restaurant wasnt worth the wait or effort, better food and better prices elsewhere in walking distance, and again, not allowed to charge to the room, not very high end or middle end menu either. plus they close early like the french side of st martin, 8pm, while rest of st martin dutch side, (which is where this place is located in) closes at 10pm last call for meals, bar open til 11pm. Girls week in St. Marten

My best friend and I recently returned from a girls week in beautiful St. Maarten (Dutch Side). I had some timeshare exchange points so I booked the Sea Palace Resort from July 31-August 7, 2021. The resort did not disappoint. Perfectly located on the famous boardwalk. Close to many places to eat, quaint little shops, small markets and best of all the beautiful Great Bay was steps away from our room. We had a one bedroom condo that was very spacious with a full kitchen and two baths. There was a nice balcony with ample seating overlooking the magnificent crystal clear waters. A view that you never were tired of. We watched the cruise ships come and go. Very close to two small Bar and Grills; "The Pier" and "The Lay Back" they both had phenomenal food and service. Shelly Belly and Super Troy are awesome! The locals are very welcoming and appreciative. Maisha and Sasha that work the front desk at the Sea Palace are exceptional at their jobs. They go above and beyond acquiring anything you may need, answering questions, offering referrals, scheduling covid test, booking tours, and just being very welcoming. Most owners we met at the resort were welcoming also. Other owners were a little territorial and bossy with a slight entitlement and unwelcoming attitude. We had such a great time though, we will not let them sway our decision to return to the resort, we will just book at a different time. HaHa. Overall, great trip. Love St. Maarten and The Sea Palace.
