Many better options in Orlando

We rented 2 units for a family vacation. Roaches, no towels, trash in the room, no pillows, broken dinette table, broken blender, TV didn't work, ice makers don't work. Paid $40 for wifi for only 3 devices and only had a speed of less than 5 megs. Very sad. No dish towels, no pot holders. So many better options in the Orlanso area. Very disappointing for a property that should be so much better. We rented 2 units for a family vacation. Vacation with our furry 4 legged friend Shorty

We stay 2 3 times a year in 2 bedroom villa. Have always had a great and very nice experience... The room was very clean and kitchen had all utensils we needed. All the units are being upgraded and look beautiful. Great location close to highway 192 full of stores and restaurants. Very close to all the parks. The staff was awesome always go out of their way to assist. Lots of great pools to choose from. Water park located by the towers units and is a nice walk around the complex. Food service was great, with a couple of restaurants on site also a market place to purchase anything you need. We had and amazing experience at west gate villas resort and a very clean and safe environment. There are lots to do for recreation with family and kids at water park , riding the swan boat also train ride around the complex you can hop on and off. Great staff and fast checking. No pressure sales and we were very pleased that they are pet friendly since we travelled without small Shorty. Will definitely recommend this resort to all our friends and family. We paid over $1000 for our stay and the condition of villa was less than satisfactory. Disgusting coffee maker, dirty blankets, burnt out light bulbs etc. When we went to speak about it to customer service, the person by the name Juliana, was less than apologetic instead blamed us that we didn’t forget our plans and come to complaint earlier. Nice place

We are long time owners and Westgate Vacation Villas is our home resort. Check in went smoother this time. We declined the “welcome package “ which is just an opportunity for Westgate to get you to come to a meeting and then they pressure you to upgrade. Our unit was clean and seemed to have everything with the exception of oven mitts. I called to ask for them and was told they discontinued oven mitts so they said the could drop off for kitchen towels. I was really surprised about this. I even checked out the gift store and no oven mitts there either. I think they should definitely stock oven mitts in the future. It’s not something I am going to want to bring from home. The pools were nice with lots of chairs. The water park was fun but one of the bars was closed so you had to wait in a long line at the one and only open bar. Service was slow.
