Walked in, then out!

I expected a far nicer hotel based on stars and placement for 3 nights through Club Interval. I felt uneasy immediately at the check in area which seemed poorly maintained and things only got worse. The two people before me walked up the 8 floors to their room, voicing their mistrust of the elevator. I could go on and on about the disappointments- ocean view barely visible in sitting area due to small window and exterior balcony, the big bedroom had huge windows looking onto hallway accessing rooms, "2nd bedroom" is an oversized closet with bunk beds and no window. I barely shut the door after entering and almost immediately returned to my car heading for another hotel. Good news is that another reviewer indicated the Schooner is closing next year. Great Stay on the Beach!

Quiet, well-maintained condo stay directly on the beach and at the heart of the Grand Strand. Great staff, very personable and responsive. Our family has been staying at this resort for over 30 years and loved each stay. Quiet, well-maintained condo stay directly on the beach and at the heart of the Grand Strand. Decent place to stay

I know someone who owns a time share here so we decided to stay here also. Rooms are outdated but clean. There was a bag of linens left in our room but once we called, staff immediately came up to take it. Staff is very friendly. Pool heater doesn't work but is refreshing on a hot day. Since they are closing next year, I don't expect repairs to be done unless safety is affected. They have halted mid-week cleanings due to Covid but you can exchange towels on Mondays and Thursdays. I would stay here again regardless of their upcoming closure. They still maintain the facility and are nice! I know someone who owns a time share here so we decided to stay here also. Relaxing

Everything you need is within walking distance. We parked our car and did not drive all week. Even had our groceries delivered , The pool and hot tub are well maintained and are nice for an evening dip after a day at the beach. Everything you need is within walking distance. Myrtle Beach - safe in and out of ocean.

Size of the 2 BR/2BA unit is small but comfortable with direct ocean front balcony. The small size of the resort is a plus to me - Green grass area is well kept. Easy walk to boadwalk, grocery store, many restaurants - you actually never need to move your car. Staff are always polite, friendly & attentive. This is my "happy place".
