Pleasant accomodations

Stayed during the week. Full 1B, 2B room, large living room, full kitchen. 2 fireplaces! Near The Village, nice 1 mi walk. Friendly staff. Pool, spa open. Bbq area. Covered parking. Beware of booking through 3rd parties

I booked my stay through a 3rd party vendor and made it a point to say I had 2 cars. Vendor supposedly checked with the property and said "No problem". When I arrived, Desirae greeted me as though I was bothering her. No smile or welcome. When I said I was told 2 cars were ok she said that was against policy and not allowed even after I showed her the email I received saying it was ok. She made a face and said I didn't make the reservation through them so basically "too bad". No apologies for any misunderstanding on the 3rd party's part or any effort to help except to tell me we had to park our other vehicle behind the property. Never during our 4 night stay was the parking lot completely full. If you had 2 couples sharing the suite are you expected to carpool? All the other staff members we came in contact with during our stay were friendly. Their policy is only 1 car allowed and no pets allowed. We saw a family with a huge Akita as well as other guests with smaller dogs. I guess it depends on who checks you in. No elevators to the upper floors and parking can be far from the stairs so it's a pain to get your stuff to your room if you're on the 3rd floor. Our room was well furnished except for huge stains on the bedspread and a stain on the chair in the bedroom. There were ants everywhere, even in the bathroom. It was hot when we were there and there is no air conditioning so you have to open the windows for ventilation and the noise from the street is bad. The ceiling fans help some but it was difficult sleeping between the heat and noise. For the first 2 days we didn't have anyone in the room above us but for the last 2 nights of our stay it sounded like we had a group of insomniacs pacing well into the night. WiFi worked well. TV reception was spotty at times. Kitchen was well equipped but there were ants on the floor and table and counter. Lots of space for 2 couples but you can't park both cars there. Possibly due to COVID, you had to leave your soiled linens outside your door if you wanted fresh and put your own trash out. We never needed any housekeeping services but we saw staff and one time we saw a basket of fresh towels at the top of the stairwell. Nice Getaway

This is an older ski resort but is well maintained and very clean. The staff are extremely personable and helpful. We had a one bedroom unit and were pleasantly surprised that it had two baths and two fireplaces. This is an older ski resort but is well maintained and very clean. Okay accomidaition, not at all pretty location however.

Nice general area, but just off the major highway. Not seclude at all. Highway on one side, fast food the other. Not a forest experience. Similar to the motels on the road nearby. Dangerously old!

I will start with positives. The staff could not have been better. The maintenance crew prompt and courteous. It was clean, it had two bathrooms, the WiFi worked and a good location. The negatives. The pipes are so old that air gets in and you think there is jack hammering going on above. The gas fireplaces let out fumes. The heaters were so old that the instructions were to take out battery, tap and put back in. We woke up to no heat. We had a flood from above in our bathroom. If you like warmth bring your own comforter. They give you one thin blanket. Don’t waste, your money or points. Go elsewhere. I will start with positives. The staff could not have been better.
