It was an OK experience, not the best sterling
Coming from visiting Sterling Wayanad, Sterling Kodai lake; my expectations of sterling were quite high for Sterling Lonavla. however it wasn't a smooth affair. Before that let me talk about the nice things. Location: Very easily accessible, however you will not find any local transport and will have to rely on sterling transportation or many local vendors. The prices are very flat and mostly like any other hill station; expensive. Check-in experience: Really hassle free and done very swiftly. Covid protocols very clearly followed and no levy anywhere to anyone (more on how it was hindrence at times) Food: Chef Praveen was our chef and he was a delight. Let me quote, one instance where our 6-yrold was creating ruckus about not having Tomato soup in buffet. He not only heard this, but towards the close our meal he prepared fresh soup to our table. Phenomenal customer experience, not only his attitude, food was very well prepared and presented as well. Not so good factors Proactive thinking: As hoteliers they must have 1,000+ guests every year and it is for that reason we reach out to them for questions because they would think ahead, this was missing. 2 Instances; the hotel doesn't have towels in the swimming area, this should have been notified to us, nevertheless when we asked for directions for the pool, the frontdesk person guided us, could have also told us about this, but he did not. so walked all the way from room to pool and back to room in the cold breeze just for the towels. When asked about it, he mentioned the fact that we are gonna us the pool did not strike him. This was unpleasant. When we asked to clean the rooms, the frontdesk obliged and took our keys, but when we came back he said room is only cleaned every alternate days, due to Covid protocols. this is fine, but this could have been notified to us when we gave the keys and not when returning it. Indoor games: Again this is a comparison factor from Sterling Kodai lake; where they had numerous activities to keep us entertained. This was a miss here, considering Covid, the management could have included new simple games, like jenga, playing cards, ludo etc. Rooms and space: This is smallest studio we have stayed and it felt cramped sometimes. The ambiance was really nice and food was excellent specially the chef parveen so kind and helpful. He asked me about my food preference and made the dish according also I noticed that the interacted with each and every guest about the food and took the review overall experience was excellent The ambiance was really nice and food was excellent specially the chef parveen so kind and helpful. Excellent visit at sterling
The ambiance was really nice and food was excellent specially and the chef parvin was so kind and helpful he asked me about my food preference and made the dish according aslo I noticed that he interacted with each and every guest about the food and took the review. GREAT RESORT WITH WONDERFUL STAFF !!
A resort is not just great with its high budget construction and beautiful lighting it makes it a wonderful stay for guest by its helpful staff . This was one of the perfect for what we needed I would like to mention Mr Sanjay , Mr Anmol and Mr bhaskar I have seen this in there duty that they just don't work for there earning but also work to make there guests visit happy and memorable. This place is highly recommended by me to visit once !!
