Best Location

We were looking forward to a relaxing holiday as we did not get chance to get out of busy city life for last two years. Sterling Yelagiri fulfilled our expectations completely. Very helpful and attentive staff and would like to specially thank Mr. Suresh Mudliar along with his team at front office and at the coffee shop and also our room attendant Mr. Bera whose smiling face and willingness to tend to our comforts made our trip a wonderful experience. A relaxing holiday with Family

With my sister-in-law living and working in a different city, once she was home , the entire family wanted to do a quick family vacation. We identified that we did not want to drive too long on the road nor did we want to repeat the usual suspects of Coorg/Ooty/Yercaud. When Yellagiri was decided as the Go-To place, we zeroed in on Sterling. We hoped it would be a clean and comfortable, with good service. Sterling, went above and beyond. Here is a brief summary: 1. Service: After staying in multiple 5-star places, I can comfortably say that the service was on-par(even above par) in Sterling Yellagiri. All our room service requests were acknowledged within minutes and completed as soon as possible. Even when we requested plates and cutlery to be cleared at 11:45 pm in the night, housekeeping was polite, efficient and courteous. We were celebrating a birthday, and we hadn't planned for a birthday cake beforehand(oops!), Front Desk arranged a cake for us from the town below the hills and got it delivered for us! They even gave the cake at 11:45 pm, to cut the cake on the birthday eve! 2. Food: We couldn't do a buffet for the 2 nights , however, all our orders were In-Room dining. Prices for food items were average, however, food quality and quantity were excellent. 3. Room: Rooms were above average, hot water was always available and beds were comfortable. Option of both AC and fan for those unbearable summers! TV did not have too many regional channels subscribed, however, you aren't on a family holiday if you want to watch TV! 4. Amenities: Holiday activity room could be improved with a few more activities( X-Box/Play-station/novels/Magazines. You will get a cricket bat, stumps, problem is where do you play? Something to look at. Three of us utilized the spa, honestly, nothing great to rave about. 1 hour of relaxation for your stressed muscles and nerves. . Worthy Mentions: Hussain and Carolyn were excellent. Thank you very much Hussain for the cake and proactively getting us a print out of Places to See around Yellagiri! Overall : A great place to visit with your family to relax and rejuvenate. My recommendation: Go for it! FAMILY holiday for sterling

Sterling always being a excellent experienced both in terns of staying, fooding. Most importantly staffs well understand the need of customer and how proactively issues get addressed for customer, which indeed great for sterling in business growth. Some of the staff names which we interact during my stay , kumaresh, F & B TEAM, front office resprestrator , housekeeping all simply has supported above and beyond expectations. Sterling always being a excellent experienced both in terns of staying, fooding. Good Stay at Yelagiri Sterling

Its a great stay well organised, food are of high quality at affordable packages, breakfast and dinner arrangements made by Mr. Mani was very much satisfactory. He was so friendly person. Rooms are clean and specious. Service team are best took care of our needa very much. Overall it was a comfortable stay with my family and spend a quality time with them. Wonderful people at beautiful place

My friend and I had travelled to Yelagiri, which I didn't know existed. My Friend is found of Hill Stations and we had the opportunity to visit it. the travel was bit adventurous. We arrived late in the night but the hotel staff were following up with us and went one step ahead and kept food for dinner. The first impression was that the building is good and has good viewing points. The Front desk and especially Kumaresh (Restaurant Manager) was very kind and courteous. I didn't find any major issues or flaws during my stay on the property. the build is good, the walkway spacious, rooms clean and tidy, last but not least the bathrooms too were very clean. The staff was following all COVID 19 Norms. Coming to food, the breakfast was same all the days we stayed but very tasty still remember the soft Idlys and crunch Vadas, mouthwatering. The entire restaurant was very helpful, I have seen them helping the elder people and children alike.
