Если вы известный яхтсмен, то это явно не ваш клуб

Попал в этот отель по системе фортуна 3* от туроператора "Жемчужная река". Не знаю насколько мой отзыв может оказаться для кого то полезным, т.к. считаю, что по собственному желанию вряд ли кто будет целенаправленно бронировать данный отель. Тем ни менее поделюсь своими впечатлениями от пребывания в этом так сказать яхтклубе. Отель реально очень старый. Возможно, когда то он и соответствовал своему названию, но сейчас все пришло в упадок и морально устарело. Постояльцы отмечают только один плюс - это расположение на первой линии. Пляж начинается сразу за бассейном отеля. Правда пляж оставляет желать лучшего. Как объяснил китайский гид, участок береговой полосы у отеля является диким пляжем. Т.к. он зажат между портом и строящимся насыпным островом вода в нем мутная. Ежедневно на берег выбрасывается различный мусор от банальных бутылок до обрывков рыбацких сетей. Правда ежедневно береговую полосу убирают, мусор собирают в мешки и вывозят, но купаться в таком море особого желания нет. В отеле большой бассейн с тремя зонами: холодной, теплой и горячей (где то градусов 40). В последней зоне говорят, что вода поступает из термальной скважины, т.е. вода подогретая вулканом. В ней ежедневно отмокают туристы, в основном китайские пенсионеры. У бассейна есть раздевалка и душ (опять же с горячей водой). Стоит отметить, что в отеле из всех кранов идет только горячая вода. Номера в отеле есть с видом на море (это лучший вариант) и с балконом, выходящим на дорогу. Я жил в последнем. Надо сказать, что уснуть в таком номере или просто отдохнуть крайне сложно, т.к. всю ночь доноситься шум машин, газующих грузовиков и самое ужасное - "говорящего" светофора, который через каждые пять минут издает звуки. От всего этого ни то что уснуть не получается, но еще и голова болеть начинает. За переезд в номер с видом на море с нас попросили доп.плату 100 юаней за сутки. Номера оформлены (как это ни странно) в египетском стиле (папирусы, плетенная мебель и пр.). Очень неожиданный выбор дизайна для Китая. Сантехника в номерах убитая, ванна и раковина с желтизной. Каждый день кладут наборы мыло, расческу, зубную пасту. Зачем расческу нужно менять каждый день я не так и не понял. Шампунь и гель для душа в дозаторах. Полотенца меняют каждый день. В номере есть халаты, холодильник, телевизор, кондиционер, wi fi, фен и чайник. Пакетики с чаем кладут каждый день. Еще есть фумигатор (пластинки выдают горничные), т.к. по ночам в номер реально залетаю комары. Вода бесплатно только в день заезда бутылка 0,5 на человека, затем, если хочешь, за деньги (3 юаня бутылка). Такого я не встречал ни в одной азиатской стране. Везде вода - это святое и выдают каждый день хотя бы по маленькой бутылочке. А здесь за деньги! Ближайший супермаркет находится от отеля в шести автобусных остановках, т.е. за водой нужно ехать на общественном транспорте. Вокруг отеля нет ни кафе, ни магазинов (даже маленьких). В парке есть небольшое кафе, где жарят кальмаров, готовят лапшу и пр. Работает только в хорошую погоду и только днем. Больше ничего нет поблизости. Завтраки в отеле совершенно не адаптированы для европейцев. Только китайская еда. Лапша (или рис) с овощами, вареный батат, капуста, рисовый "кисель", рисовые пончики на пару, омлет (состав неизвестен, но явно не из яиц). Из напитков разбавленный чай и кофе "Ячменный колос". Ни яиц, ни мяса (сосисок например), ни фруктов. Детское меню вообще не предусмотрено. Через какое-то время стали давать сладкий хлеб. За завтраком нет даже элементарно кулера с водой, тостера. В общем на такой завтрак можно даже не ходить. Помещение для завтрака очень маленькое. Часть столов расположена на открытом воздухе, но в ветреную погоду или когда идет дождь сидеть за ними нельзя. Поэтому в столовой набивалось много народа и постоянно не хватало свободных столов. Единственным намеком на яхтклуб являются несколько катеров, стоящих на берегу и оборудованных столиками (на фото). Предполагалось, что в них можно сидеть и завтракать или выпивать, но желающих я не видел. Подытожив, могу сказать, что в таком месте наверное будет комфортно только китайским пенсионерам, приезжающим полежать в термальной воде. А если вы известный яхтсмен, то это явно не ваш клуб. Worst Hotel in China

Really the worst hotel and hotel experience I've had in China!!!! (Note the review from 2012 below, which states the same). It all started from the moment I booked it. The website I used advertised hotel pick up, of which there was none! As the hotel is 38 Km from the airport, some form of private transport is needed to get there. A taxi from the airport will cost 125 yuan (almost half the price of the cheapest room). The room itself was stuffy (two doors but no window to open), never dusted, with no free bottled water, no plug in the bath, no tissues, only a small roll of toilet paper, no hair-dryer, broken lamp shades and switches, cockroaches in the bathroom and the odd mosquito. The hotel wifi was a joke and didn't work at all: there were 10 numbers listed and none of them worked in the room. Also, China Mobile didn't work either as it was in a blind spot. I had to sit in the garden to use my phone away from the hotel itself. There is no convenience store or restaurant anywhere near the hotel. I was told to take a taxi for 15 minutes to find one!!! After which, another staff member at the desk finally got up and pointed me out the back to a hotel shop but didn't bother to tell me it was closed until I walked there and found out myself. It probably had nothing but instant noodles anyway. The pool itself looked good, but was unevenly surfaced at the bottom (you could stub your toe) and was difficult to get in and out due to metal ladders. There was a big sign saying 'don't go in the sea', or 'enter at your own risk'. However, the sea was calm and much less dangerous than the pool! On checkout, (I left after one night), I was accused of opening a condom packet that was already damaged in the room, like everything else, in the hotel. What a joke!!! Staff were very brazen-faced too with angry guests. No apologies here: it's like what every guest has to put up with and they said so themselves!!! Older property but facilities adequate. We had a couple of studios which did not face the sea but rooms were big clean and quiet. short walk to beach and pools. No lifts so not suitable for the less able bodied. Not an expensice property and value for the $$ we paid Good location right on golden sand beach. 2 spa pools with hot spring water. Great to soak in after days activities. Swimming pool warm. Reasonable Cantonese buffet breakfast. Had lunch at restaurant once and food adequate. Swam in sea most days. Bit cool but OK given time of year. Great seafood restaurant on next property to East which had a series of dining villas with 4 large tables in each villa. Great service and food here. Pick your own live seafood from tanks. Not expensive by Western standards but more expensive than say Panyu in Guangzhou. Good 20 minute walk along seaside board walk to Sheraton to East. Public beach with beach BBQ and some eateries to West about 5 minutes walk along boardwalk Property about 15-20 minutes from city. Quiet location. Did not use public transport. Seemed to be regular flow of taxis in the area. We did order a taxi to the airport without any difficulty thru reception. Were fortunate enough to be able to rent a car. Dined in at couple of the many outdoor restaurants back near city. Mandarin language skills very useful here Older property but facilities adequate. I have traveled the World and stayed in hundreds of hotels and I found this to be one of the worst I have ever stayed at. I taveled with a dozen people and they all agreed. This is not even close to 4 stars. I would rate it a 1-1 and half. Rooms run down with mold and dirt everyone. Mine had roaches, lizards, ants and asps. They didnt change sheets only towels. No hot water most days. Many outlets didnt work, lamp shades had holes,hair dryers didnt work, bed only a worn out boxspring, door locks broken etc.. Not one staff member spoke English. No elevator. Nothing to do other than swim. No english channels on TV. Very isolated. TERRIBLE FOOD. Most days little edible. NEVER STAY HERE!! Wind and Fire

If you wish to enjoy contrasts, this is the place! My family spent 3 nights in this beach/hot spring set-up in late December. Both our rooms had balconies overlooking the beach. One was about 100 m away from the beach, overlooking the swimming pools while the other was less than 50 m away from the surf. If you wish to experience the full force of the sea breeze choose a room adjoining the beach. I had never stayed in a room which was so gusty! The moment I opened the balcony door the wind whoosed into the room lifting curtains like they were pieces of tissue. It was quite an experience, bringing a whole new reference to what wind chill factor meant! The star feature of this place was the hot water which was pumped up from a natural underground volcanic spring into a hot water pool. It was an exercise of faith, getting into one’s swimming costume and walking into the blustery, howling winter sea gusts but once one got into the hot water pool it was bliss. The water was quite hot but did not smell sulphuric. Having the winter chill on one’s face while the lower body was heated up was strangely therapeutic. No wonder there were guests soaking up the heat, late into the night. The small bar/restaurant was open 24 hours and we could get nice cold Tsingtao beer to the hot pool even when it was midnight. We didn’t have enough courage to get out of the hot pool and swim in the adjacent cold water pool though some brave people did. The down side to the place was that the decor and rooms were dated and clearly needed refurbishment. Breakfast was basic. Because the gusts were so strong in the room next to the beach, there were bits of sand on the bedding. If one is looking for international 5-star spa accommodation with gym, professional massage, international restaurants etc, this place is not up to par. There really wasn’t much else to see or experience besides the hot spring soak, the fresh sea gusts, the surf and the sand. If one is looking for nature’s contrast in modest accommodation, savoured the Chinese way, this may well be the place. If you wish to enjoy contrasts, this is the place!
