Yuri in the Hurricane Bar & Grill was amazing!!!!!! Great service & great conversation. We loved it ! Bing bang shrimp is a must try!!! Sit at the bar if you can grab a seat so this bartender can take care of you because he’s one of the best ever!!!! Yuri in the Hurricane Bar & Grill was amazing!!!!!! Great stay on the beach

Beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast every morning, scrambled eggs, sausage patties, toaster waffles, chocolate chip croissants, cereal, juice, milk, coffee and soda just to name a few of the items on the buffet. Clean smelling bedding. Refrigerators with indoor water and ice. Friendly service. Directly on the beach with lovely views of the ocean and the intracoastal waterway. Lots of local restaurants within walking distance. Beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms. Best friendly bartender service and drinks

Booked this hotel for 5 days on business and every trip its hard to find good service at the restaurants in the hotel nobody never around to take your order. Daytona Beach residents in ben the best service I had in a long time the bartender Yuri showed very good service and knows what u want and how to make it the right way. The bloody Mary's where on point...usually I don't like my bloody marys spicy...the way Yuri makes his bloody Mary's give u just a kick but not where gonna burn your lips to u can't enjoy your drink...so thanks to Yuri at residents in at Daytona Beach for awsome service this ben a good trip tx. Perfect location

Celebrated my birthday here for the weekend. I had the 2 bdrm suite, rooms were clean lots of space. The staff was very friendly. The bartender, Yuri, makes THEE best Bloody Mary’s !! I had two before hitting the town. I suggest you stay here AND have the drink, plus he’s very handsome! Celebrated my birthday here for the weekend. Needs renovation!

Marriott should be embarrassed to call this one of their properties. The room was a dump. Carpet needed replacement. The shower had the LOWEST water pressure of any hotel I've ever stayed in. Nothing like going to the beach and looking forward to a nice shower and getting water pressure barely enough to wet you down. The TV was old and the remote was a great impression with worn numbers and broken indicator lights. The sofa was old and dirty looking. Almost afraid to sit on it. The only part of the stay that was good was that the bartender was friendly and efficient. Other hotel staff were equally friendly, so kudos to the staff. Sad that they have to promote this old, dilapidated beach front hotel. It doesn't look like they have dropped ONE DIME into this place since it was built decades ago. So disappointed.
