Watch out for rental company “Special Places “

I booked 2 Condos in PACIFICO back in Jan/ Feb, 2020, and then COVID hit, I have been trying since then to cancel and get my money back with NO response. I got my money back for 1 Condo as they no longer manage it ( but it took 1 year ) to get my money back ,as of today , no money return or ANY response to my emails, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO BOOK THROUGH.. they told me that they would put the Condo back up to rent and they never did , terrible terrible owners,, no response what’s so ever. Pacífico Resort unit L713

We stayed at the Pacífico Resort unit L713. The resort is very nice with a great, huge pool, lots of trees and grass, free parking and security. It is an easy walk to Main Street where all the action is. The unit is spacious with a large kitchen, comfortable king bed and nice deck. The negatives are the dirty walls (see pictures). Very low water pressure in the shower. We stayed at the Pacífico Resort unit L713. The resort is very nice with a great, huge pool, lots of trees and grass, free parking and security. It is an easy walk to Main Street where all the action is. The unit is spacious with a large kitchen, comfortable king bed and nice deck. The negatives are the dirty walls (see pictures). We keep coming back

This place has all the convenience of a resort but with big condos and without that feeling of being trapped. The gorgeous pool is a big and a blast for the kids. The bar at the pool has good drinks, food and - according to mum children- the best chicken tenders on earth. There is a great super market right next door. The beach is a ten minute walk. Many many restaurants are nearby. Tons of activities within and hours drive - and many much closer. Only 25 minutes from the airport. I do not have a single complaint. The best base to explore Costa Rica. Love this place. This place has all the convenience of a resort but with big condos and without that feeling of being trapped. Beautifully kept grounds

This resort has exceptional lush grounds, beautifully maintained. The pools are immaculate and inviting. Staff are wonderful. There is a safe in every room and a shuttle to their Pacifico Beach Club. The note of caution is the aggressive marketing by the timeshare interests. A 90 min. presentation turns into 3 hours. And there are no good deals compared to finding your own rental elsewhere. We stayed for 2 weeks in April 2019, and have it booked for 4 weeks 2020. Private condominiums with a bit of resort thrown in. The grounds are immaculate, and they work very hard to keep them this way. 4 pools, and a hot tub with waterfall. Courtyard, poolside restaurant - very nice. So many good restaurants in Coco. We love watching the leafs at Coconutz in town. Large open air restaurant with big screen. After the game there is local talent on stage. If you've never been to CR you must put it on your list.
