Роскошный отель рядом с Таинственным раем

Пятизвездочный отель со всем прилагающимся: роскошными холлами с "китайскими" достопримечательностями - воротами Запретного города, солдатами Терракотовой армии, повозками, керамической скульптурой, пластиковой цветущей сакурой, фонтанами, китайскими игрушками и т.д., просторными номерами, бассейном и др. Обедали в ресторане отеля - шведский стол, изобилующий блюдами как европейской, так и китайской кухни, хороший выбор десертов, а вот с чаем почему-то возникали проблемы. Персонал, в основном, владеет английским: от консьержа, вызывавшего нам такси, до сотрудников ресепшна. В отеле проходила конференция: залы с огромными "фонтанными" люстрами и китайскими рисунками впечатляют, но в них было прохладно. Таинственный рай - это парк рядом с отелем: китайская стилистика - пагоды, водопад, драконы и т.д. - за огромные для европейцев деньги (думаю, для местных - дешевле). Шикарные номера

В гостинице есть все удобство для хорошего отдыха. Номера большие, удобные. Есть 25 метровый бассейн, СПА центр. Единственный минус это то, что на ресепшене работают люди которые очень плохо розговоривают на английском. Завтрак хороший. В гостинице есть все удобство для хорошего отдыха. Номера большие, удобные. Gorgeous and magnificent!

We stayed at Wyndham Grand Xian South Hotel visiting gorgeous Xi’An City and enjoying the famous Datang Everbright City (大唐不夜城, i.e., “Great Tang All Day Mall”). The location of the Hotel was just perfect for enjoying the night scene of DEC which was a few steps away, at the next block. The hotel has a magnificent entrance, gorgeous lobby and exceptional hall and an open “circled” inner court. Our bedroom was large, well set with two beds, comfortable sitting area, nice and open closet, and contemporary magnificent bathroom. Service was excellent. Wi-fi was strong and easy to connect. We enjoyed Hotel’s gorgeous breakfast. We enjoyed the one night stay and trip. I want to go back!

We visited this hotel in March 2019. The hotel was stunning. I have been meaning to write this review for a year but only just had time due to the lock down. In all my travelling around the world never have I experienced such hospitality. This hotel is beautiful but the staff are outstanding. One day I hope to take my children so that they can experience the delights of the festival of light. The chef Mukesh Singh made the most delicious eggs benedict and even took time out of his busy schedule to talk to us. On our tour of china we visited Hong Kong, shanghai and Beijing as well as xian. Xian was most definitely the best. The staff here were amazing and the bell boy waited for our taxi to arrive and spent the whole time chatting with us. LARGE & COMFORTABLE ROOM IN A NICE LOCATION

I was thrilled to enter a huge room with a high ceiling and closet that functions as a dressing room. The bed was a full-sizer and comfortable (meaning not hard or stiff) and the bathroom was large in size as well. One thing I wasn't crazy about was the breakfast buffet but I suppose it's because I was spoiled while staying at a Beijing hotel. The hotel location is nice as it's behind a pedestrian mall with lots of shops, displays and eateries. There was an issue with the heating in the room and it was addressed during a morning. Amazing Hotel

Wyndham Grand Xian South provided me and my husband the best experience in our recent trip to China (Jan 2020) not only because of the excellent atmosphere but also the incredible room, staff and utmost best customer service. Outstanding

This was, I think, the best hotel I stayed at in 3 1/2 weeks of travelling in China - better than Hiltons, Sheratons and perhaps even better than a Shangri-La. I was here for three nights, and wouldn't have minded staying longer. What was good about it? The rooms are very spacious, with top-quality furnishings. The 10-foot ceilings and beautiful dark woodwork make it seem almost like a 'grand hotel' of the late 1800s, but the facilities are very modern. The room had large windows that were almost floor-to-ceiling, but very little outside noise made it into the room. There was a well-organized work desk area near the window, and also a sitting area with sofa and coffee table. The bathroom was large and had both a large tub and a shower. The room also had quite a large walk-in closet. I ate breakfast here for three mornings and everything was good. The breakfast area was large and had a huge selection of tasty dishes (lots of fruit, eggs, cereals, yogurts, danishes and other baked goods, plus the usual Chinese breakfast dishes). Because this is such a large hotel, the breakfast area can get crowded at times despite its large size, so you'll have a more relaxed breakfast if you come either early or late as the hotel's signs suggest. Staff were very helpful. One thing that they pointed out, which I appreciated, was the in-hotel ATM. It is in a separate room that is opened by the room key, to provide extra privacy when using the ATM. I used the laundry service, which was good and reasonably-priced (by luxury hotel standards). The nearby mall has numerous shops, including a convenient grocery store in the basement of the department store. The area in general is very upscale and is a beautiful area for walking. Just to the south of the hotel is a long linear park running east-west which is interesting to explore. If you walk east from the hotel through this park, you will eventually end up at a fairly large lake surrounded by landscaped parkland. The only possible flaw might be access to public transportation, but since I was on a tour this was not an issue as transportation was provided. There is a subway station by the Tang Paradise, about a 1 km walk. There should, however, be regular busses running along the major roads nearby.
