Good budget option if your expectations are realistic

We booked a night at Vistacay Hotel World Cup as it was one of the cheaper hotels in Jeju that had a pool and didn’t charge extra for using it. With their cheap rate and scores of negative reviews we were expecting the worst. But the room was spotlessly clean and a lot cleaner than most places that are more expensive. It is apparent by looking at the hallways with peeling paint that the property could be better maintained. The views on the lower floors are horrendous looking out to the AC units of the other rooms. The building has been remodeled recently but is old so the boiler has to be manually turned on. However, considering the price and cleanliness, it’s not a bad place to stay for budget travelers. The pool is great for little kids as the depth is only about a half meter and it is heated. However, the hotel needs to control the number of guests using the small pool as it can realistically handle only about 20 persons tops. Quiet and nice hotel

The journey from Jeju airport to Vistacay Hotel Cheonjiyeon is approximately about 50 minutes - 1 hour+ish depending on the traffic condition. Well, you can enjoy the view while on the way to the hotel. If you are using the local app, it is not easy to locate the hotel hence, you may look for Vistahill Hotel / Hotel Alegria Seoqwipo. The hotel is within walking distance from the Airport Limousine No. 600 (₩5,500) from New Geongam Hotel station. The room is very comfy and nice but just slightly small. Overall, it is great. Walking distance to restaurants and convenience stores. It quite quiet at night so you can really relax and rest. Conveniently located hotel in Seogwipo City

My wife and I had an enjoyable stay at the hotel mostly due to the excellent location where it is closely located near to many restaturants in Arang Joeul Food Street and Maeil Olle Market. Many attractions within close driving distance away. Our room was on the 10 floor with nice views of the mountains and partial view of the ocean. Although there was no hotel based restaurant and the pool was shut for renovations, it wasn't a problem for us. Clean and spacious rooms. Clean Hotel

Direction: from airport take 600 airport limousine bus & stop at new kyungnam tourist hotel station. Cross the road, walk up to the road next to new kyungnam hotel. It is opposite naegeori restaurant along arang jeoul food street. Pros: Room is clean, spacious, provide body shampoo, shampoo, body lotion, tea bags. Location is strategic, from hotel turn right, within walking distance to Olle Market. Cons: Restaurant & Swimming pool under maintenance. Air conditioner auto off after 3 hours. Even seek assistance from the hotel staff to off the timer, but it still off 3 hours. Can’t understand the air conditioner remote control coz in Korean language. Moderate room without breakfast

We checked in as RCI member and the staff told us that the package is only for stay and without breakfast. It is really odd as we are expecting as RCI member should have the better treat by normal walk in booking. The room given was also having bad view.
