San Francisco dreaming
We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The resort was very clean and quiet. Lots of excellent restaurants in walking distance. Quick response time from Uber. Perfect location for concerts, opera, or symphony. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The resort was very clean and quiet. Lots of excellent restaurants in walking distance. Desk staff wonderful
All of the desk staff were extremely helpful and knowledgable regarding the local transportation options. We paid $5 for an all day pass on the bus system and were able to get around everywhere we needed to go. The BART system is close by and you can take the subway to the airport if you buy a pass at the station. We made reservations at the restaurant onsite one night. Food was expensive. Drinks at the bar were good and reasonably priced. Easy to walk to many local restaurants in the area. Desk staff made good recommendations for local restaurants. Easy bus ride to Fisherman's wharf where we caught the hop on hop off bus to get to all of the tourist sites. A short walk to rental car options as we drove out of city one day to Sonoma area and red woods. The hotel is located in the city so there is city noise at night. We heard glass recycling dumped almost every night, but it comes with the location. Overall we were very happy with our stay and especially the front desk staff who answered all of our questions and helped to make our stay relaxing and fun. The fat lady never sang
Terrible …everything about this place is wrong, from bad water pressure to not even having a hook to hang a garment, there was no closet so you have to work out of your suitcase, FOR A WEEK….room was small and unorganized …older people would find it difficult getting into the refrigerator stuck in the corner. No place to put your toiletries, only a queen size bed that was uncomfortable, I have been to Budget Inns that had better everything. In the morning they threw out a few muffins and juices, no coffee and expected you to be happy with that, Really? A few blocks away the homeless had set up a bunch of tents and tarps to live in and we seriously considered going over therefor shelter and believe me it was a tough choice….NEVER stay there again and strongly suggest you don’t either.. Old Style Feel with updated Accommodations :)
We booked this through our timeshare and it was decent. It was very clean and it looks as thought they have been trying to modernize the accommodations. It didn't have air but the ceiling fans helped to make it nice and we had nice weather to open windows. According to the map I had one of the bigger units which was two rooms and two bathrooms which was perfect for my family. We didn't know there was a restaurant in this hotel until our last night. The grab and go breakfast was good with the necessities on choices. Staff was very accommodating. We didn't like that we had to ask for ice at the front desk however this may be due to COVID. All in all this was a nice place that I would book again. We used LYFT to go to Pier 39 and we took the MUNI to go to the Giants game and one way to Blazing Saddles to rent our bikes. We were never here for dinner so I didn't look a lot into the surrounding restaurants. We booked this through our timeshare and it was decent. Great service!
We stayed here for a week (as a timeshare). Our room was more like a hotel room than the usual suites we are accustomed to, but we made do with the small refrigerator, microwave, sink, and some utensils and dishes in the cabinets. The good things about this place: the staff-they were always helpful and attentive, and Mari was great at providing information about the area; whatever we needed was brought up to our room immediately the area-located in the theater/civic area. Lots of beautiful buildings to explore. City Hall is lit up every night with a different color and visitors are allowed-make sure you go visit the largest rotunda you've ever seen- even larger than the Capitol Building in Washington, DC location-close to restaurants, coffee shops, public transportation(daily passes for $5 a day) to take you anywhere in the city fairly quiet-although the cross street (Franklin St) is busy, Fulton St is not. Traffic can be heard during the day, but not at night continental breakfast served every morning 6-10-grab and go foods, as well as cereal, milk, juices elevator(small), comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom and nice towels The bad things: It's essentially a hotel room-not a "studio" Homeless people tent across the street parking is expensive-we were told $65 a night which we knew before arriving so we planned on taking public transportation food is expensive in the city and without a large enough kitchen, impossible to cook-in or store food We booked this studio well aware of its shortfalls but we really wanted to explore the city and finding timeshares in San Francisco is next to impossible, so we jumped at the chance when we saw this was available. All-in-all we were very pleased with our stay! We stayed here for a week (as a timeshare).
