Disappointed in the room

This is a very nice resort, nicely kept grounds and the room was clean. We knew we had booked a hotel room = no kitchen or patio. So when we checked in we asked to be changed to a one bedroom and were told none were available. Then all week long we watched as the resort was only half full and there were plenty of one bedrooms available through out. Very disappointing. As for the practicalities of staying there, this is definitely an adults resort. Amenities are golf, tennis and a standard swimming pool/hot tub. No activities that we heard about all week. It is well situated in the area, very close to Saguaro National Park West and the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum. The room or "casita" is a large hotel room with bath. There is a microwave, small refrigerator and a shelf area with a set of dishes, coffee pot and toaster. There is, however, no sink to clean the dishes in except the bathroom. Average room

Average room that offers great views of Tucson lights. The place is getting aged and the old toaster, pans and gas stove was most noticeable. The bed was comfortable. There was construction going on and we woke up to lots of banging below our unit. Average room that offers great views of Tucson lights. The accommodations at this " resort" are atrocious! The studio unit was very small. We were told it was a partial kitchen. No sink, just a microwave and a small refrigerator. When management was asked about another room which was more upgraded, the response was that the unit we were in was upgraded two years ago! Wyndham generally has a good reputation. They seemingly have ignored this "resort". On a positive note, the staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Also, the Marriott owns the golf course and restaurant. Both are exceptional. A great week in Tucson

We had a great trip to Tucson and enjoyed staying at the Starr Pass Golf Suites. The condo was very nice with beautiful views from the balcony. The resort and the surrounding community with 3 golf courses was beautiful. It would be a great place for a golf vacation. We enjoyed the resort pool and visiting both sections of Saguaro National Park. Quick access to Tucson and surrounding points of interest. We would recommend it to others and would return there again. We had a great trip to Tucson and enjoyed staying at the Starr Pass Golf Suites. Peaceful, quiet, and unique!

Starr Pass Golf Suites is a great place to stay even if you don't golf. It is quiet, has beautiful views, walking or running right from the resort, swimming, and tennis to enjoy. The onsite restaurant is wonderful with a view of the golf course. Hiking or biking to Starr Pass is right out your door. Very safe neighborhood and easy access to nearby grocery shopping and places to explore. Starr Pass Golf Suites is a great place to stay even if you don't golf.
