Worst vacation ever

Worst Vacation Ever. Arrived on a Saturday and began the check-in process. After locating the Registration desk, we were checked in, however, just before handed us the keys, we were hit with the pitch to attend a presentation of some sort. We are RCI members and was told that big changes between Wyndham and RCI were taking place. I was unaware of this and wasn’t ready to commit to a presentation at this time. They kept stressing that we really should attend and held us captive at the Reservation desk. I firmly said ‘no’ several times before we were finally given the keys. For five days in a row, we received calls trying to get us to attend the presentation. I responded with ‘No’ each time with instructions not to bother us again about attending. To no avail. The calls kept coming. We were placed in Tower 4 which is across the street from the three ocean front towers. If I had known we were going to be placed in that building, we would not have come. The 2 bedroom unit was nice, but, there was a problem. We opened our door to the balcony and several wasps flew in. We quickly closed the door and killed those that made it inside, however, the doors could not be opened after that. Wyndham sent a person on two different occasions to investigate the complaint. Neither could fix the problem. The second maintenance person acknowledged that this problem would require professional help to resolve. As a result we had no fresh air. The door remained closed and the balcony went unused. I thought Wyhdham would at least offer to move us to another room, however, that never happened. HORRIBLE

To start off with, our vacation was originally planned for Westwinds but due to construction, they needed to move us to ocean blvd. I made sure we would still be ON the beach with a 2 bedroom that has ocean front views. They verified we would be and it would be in tower 3. We get to the destination and they put us in tower 4 which is NOT on the beach and no beach view. In fact, we have a view of the busy street and the building in front of us.They told us there was no way they could move us because they have nothing available. I called Wyndham and they verified in their notes that we were to be in tower 3 with an ocean view. Ocean blvd refused to move us. There was a fire pit and pool out by our room where drunk people partied all night long. So much for a nice, peaceful vacation. The pillows on the bed smelled like dirty hair. They also told us we “had” to attend a meeting with Wyndham since we were owners but we had just attended our yearly meeting in June while on vacation in Florida. I will NEVER stay here again. Absolutely horrible experience from the start. So horrible that we cut our vacation short. I wish there was an option for zero stars. Good location

Overall the resort delivers on what it advertises. The living room furniture needs to be refreshed, but at least the pieces match. Resort personnel were helpful when needed and we appreciated that we didn't get any hard selling to purchase during our trip. Overall the resort delivers on what it advertises. Relax in Myrtle Beach

Very clean, up to date, very well kept. Multiple pools, 2 small lazy rivers, dinning close by. Many beach resorts are slightly run down or not very modern. I think Club Wyndham Ocean Boulevard is in the top 5% of beach resorts. Very clean, up to date, very well kept. Multiple pools, 2 small lazy rivers, dinning close by. Probably won’t return.

The floor filthy upon arrival. The room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. When I called the front to complain because I have severe asthma they sent someone up to spray some room deodorizer, which made things much worse. When I called back down to find out what my options were I was told “ you can leave the resort for a few hours and that’s all I can suggest for you.” The shower and tub had mold all around the edge. The parking was difficult in the garage. There is only one restaurant on-site that had a limited menu and limited hours.
