Christmas at DollyWood

The unit was nice and clean. It was a quick drive to Dolly Wood and Pigeon Forge. It was away from the traffic of Pigeon Forge. We would like to visit the resort again. Another memorable stay!

Superb service from checking in to checking out! We had very few needs but when we requested toiletries or replacing a coffee pot, we were promptly served. The room was very clean (we are OCD and never give 5 stars for cleanliness) but we really had no issues. The room was updated and we had a very good view from the balcony. Everything you need is in the room, from washer/dryer to all kitchen utensils and appliances, and you would not have to leave it if you so desired. The resort is in just about the best location in the area- close to everything but uncongested. Tanger Outlet mall and Walmart are a couple blocks away, as well as tons of restaurants and activities. From the resort you can avoid much of the congestion by using the bypass about 1/2 mile from the entrance. If you want to visit the Smokies it is about a 30 minute drive to the entrance of the park. Our only complaint, and it is minor, is the parking. The parking spots fill up quickly although you always will find a spot. That speaks to the popularity of the resort. Great resort

The room was perfect for the two of us. It stated in the description that we had a mini kitchen and I was expecting everything to be small - apartment size. But everything was regular size. The kitchen may have been small but very well stocked. I do wish the furniture in the living room would have been a little more comfortable, because we like to just relax on vacation. Our room was super quiet inside and outside. There were lots of restaurants close by, but we mostly just took advantage of our kitchen. The room was perfect for the two of us. Smokey’s mountain adventure

We have traveled through the Smokey’s a few times but never stayed a full week to explore. We chose Tennessee because the state was not mask or Covid crazy. We had a wonderful 2 bed in building 26 with a top floor. We enjoyed the fireworks DollyWood had set off every night “for us”. Another big plus, we love Wyndham beds! We are avid geocachers so we had lots of new areas to geocache in. Condo is close to all major attractions. When we go back to the Smokey’s, we would definitely stay there again. Front desk Staff was not welcoming or helpful.

Rick and Bear at the "presentation" desk were friendly. Vicky was snotty on the phone. Random of the sales team was a bully. Breakfast was a sausage biscuit in a cardboard box.
