Our return visit did NOT disappoint

Our return visit did NOT disappoint... beautiful landscape & lovely staff! Great weather and excellent food... definitely will return as this area has a plethora of adventure and excitement... if you enjoy hiking, are a foodie or just want to embrace gorgeous backdrop and relaxation... your options are limitless! Sprawling, cookie-cutter resort

Yes, the rooms are huge, very well-appointed, clean and comfortable. The kitchen especially is large enough to do a decent meal preparation. Our patio didn't have much of a view at all, but that's fine. The complex is massive, so if you're not near the clubhouse, it'll be a walk. It's also well back from the main road, although I liked that aspect as it was quieter. The photos are generous angles, and taken from higher vantage points, as you don't see much of the red rocks from within the complex. Other than the buildings being painted Sedona red, there is zero character to the place, or local feel. The other downside for me was that there was a lot of maintenance work going on at the time, especially in the parking lot. This meant a lot of spaces were roped off, and one morning we were trapped because some repair workers had needlessly blocked the entire route leading out of the complex. (They parked their trucks across the road--if they had just turned them parallel, then at least one car at a time could pass.) Yes, the rooms are huge, very well-appointed, clean and comfortable. Huge units, friendly staff

My family (husband, 11 and 13 year old daughters and me) stayed here for two nights during a cross-country road trip. It was the perfect break from cramped hotel rooms and fast food. We had a two bedroom, two bath unit a short walk rom the pool. After reading some of the reviews here, I was worried the staff would try to sell me a timeshare, but one polite "no" was all it took to avoid that conversation. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone traveling with a family to Sedona! Maintenance and Cleaning have gone downhill

We reserved a two bedroom, four days/three nights over Fathers Day. Check in was a breeze, and the staff was friendly and professional. The problem I had was our unit. Ours was located on the second floor. The stove had burnt marks all over one of the burners, plus the bottom drawer was broken. All of the cabinet knobs in the kitchen felt and looked cheap. In addition, a few of them were loose. The television in the main room is too small for a room of that size. The patio door would stick when closing, requiring two hands. In addition, the lock was broken. The door to the washer/dryer storage area would not close properly, as the door was off of the guide tracks and would not stay on. We've stayed here several times before, and I don't recall it ever looking like this. We've stayed at the Canterbury in San Francisco, Oceanside, Flagstaff, and Orlando, and this by far was the worse Wyndham room we have had. I don't see myself staying at this location again, unless they seriously improve upon their general maintenance and housekeeping. They also need to update their televisions and get rid of the DVD-Player and offer streaming services. By far our family's favorite place is the Canterbury and Oceanside Wyndham's. Sedona is beautiful but hope to get diff unit next time

I really liked the location of this resort. I would stay here again but hope to get a different unit. The unit we were in had a loud bathroom fan and a microwave that sounded like a rocket taking off. It didn’t have all bed linens for the pull out couch. The view of construction was right across entrance or our unit and there weren’t a lot of seating areas or walking area to enjoy grounds. Really wished it had a patio. The washer smelled like mildew. the toilet was loose on floor and not screwed in all the way and it ran every hour l. Common with Wyndhams and confirms here too: Walls are so thin. I heard the neighbor opening canned beverage or crinkling chip bags. Really liked the pool area though and I think we were lucky that it wasn’t busy when we were there.
