Great family friendly all inclusive resort!

My hubby & I just returned from a week at El CID Resort in Puerto Morelos. Christmas is definitely in the air there. The staff put on a great show with singing, dancing, Santa & his elves. The tree lighting was awesome. The decorations would get any Scrooge in a festive mood. Overall the resort offered lots of daily activities for kids as well as adults. El CID is actually 3 resorts in one. El CID Marina, Ventas at Marina & the brand new section- Ventas ‘Ha. Each hotel had a different architectural look but rooms categories are similar in each area. Guests have access to the restaurants, bars, facilities in all 3 hotels. We enjoyed the quiet pool at Ventas ‘Ha. Luis Soto, the daytime bartender took excellent care of us each day poolside. We also enjoyed the adults-only rooftop bar & lounge area at Ventas ‘Ha. Service in each of the restaurants & at the lunch buffet was very good. Albaro, Javier & Jorge were our favorites. They provided quick, friendly service, even during busy mealtimes. We stayed in building 25 which isn’t oceanfront but provided a great view of the resort & partial view of the ocean. It was very conveniently located within the resort, close to restaurants, the lobby, pools. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job. Our housekeeper- Yaremi was so quick & efficient that we rarely even saw her but the room was always clean. The activities staff provides guided bike tours to Puerto Morelos daily from each hotel. We took the tour with Xoch. She was funny & provided a great quick overview of Puerto Morelos history. We had time to check out the beach & shop for souvenirs. Hotel is gorgeous, but you can’t swim in ocean

Hotel is very clean and beautiful The food is delicious The beach is beautiful to look from the rooms or pool deck but you can’t swim due to rocks. For the beach lovers is not for you! You can walk 10 min and swim next to Marina El acid next hotel. But we found out on out last day. I wish the hotel could informed us. Paradise in Puerto Morelos

My wife and I stayed here as part of an RCI travel package and what a find. Beautiful resort...not too big and excellent food choices, service and gorgeous accommodations. We loved this place and will definitely be returning. The Spa was a highlight...hydrotherapy to begin followed by a hot rock massage for me and deep tissue for my wife. Highly recommended. Great experience

Food was delicious, customer service was to the extreme. Recommend this resort. Love the butler service they provide. We had a platinum package I recommend Bcus you get extra perks. The check in I wasn’t to happy with. And the entertainment could’ve been more. I know due to the rain for 2 nights it was cancel but I feel they should have back up in that event.
