Deposit Not Received after cancellation

I have emailed Alberto multiple times to please return my deposit for over a month now. I correctly cancelled my room due to wanting to be closer to Rocky point attractions and booking at Bella Sirena instead. Alberto said he would return my deposit and would email when he put the request. It’s been 3 weeks or more and I have not received my deposit back or an email. I have sent multiple emails. Will update this if they return my deposit of over $400. On other note my daughter visited Laguna shores in beginning of June and she said it was a very clean beautiful resort with great food. Stay away.

Sales lies when trying to sell you a membership. There is never availability when you want to use your "included" nights. This place is dying and super far away from everything. Nothing to do here. No restaurants, bars, activities, ....... Sales lies when trying to sell you a membership. There is never availability when you want to use your "included" nights. Laguna Shores, Puerto Penasco MX

This resort is 20 Mins from Puerto Penasco with no facilities to support your needs, The the tide is out about 30 to 40 min walk out to the water when it is out. So if you except to be close to the water your not not. Their pictures are very deceiving on the web site. The pool and hot tub are to cold to use unless you go there in the summer months. The units are not well equipped for those who want to cook. The beds were awful, I'd have to say the worse beds we ever tried to sleep on...They are building more units, which is great but don't plan on sleeping in. They have some great people working there, but not the authority to make things happen that needs to be done. Great Family Destination!

The staff to include the security team, Front Desk, and restaurant crew were wonderful. Chef Tony made some wonderful seafood and steak for us. We always feel safe at Laguna Shores. They have 24 hour security and it is gated. Try Laguna Shores the next time you travel to Rocky Point. The staff to include the security team, Front Desk, and restaurant crew were wonderful. Incomplete resort

Guest should be advised as to exactly what they are in for with the resort and the cost of transportation R/T from and to resort from Phoenix, AZ or Mexico City, Mexico. Also no grocers near and the cost of going into town and back, or anywhere.
