A wretched lunch.

My wife and I had occasion to entertain an overseas business man for lunch. We chose this hotel because of the name and we assume impeccable attention. There was no fault with the service but the availability of the menu items and the quality of the preparation was abysmal. My wife wanted Schweppes tonic water which was not available and the offer of an unknown brand was not acceptable. My wife and the guest ordered a special shared meat milanese with Ruccula. After accepting the order were told that only milanese of chicken was available. When this arrived it was dramatically over cooked, should we not have been entertaining the food would have been returned. I ordered the pasta with a special bolognese sauce. Again the special sauce was not available and a standard bolognese sauce was offered. When the pasta arrived it was again very much overcooked and best one could say of the bolognese sauce was that it was not cold.. Just an insipid watery and flavourless excuse for a bolognese sauce. Went for dinner

We had been told that their Truffle desert was amazing. We arrived and the waitress stated that there was a new menu and the desert was not possible. Normally new menu means a new chef, so... we ordered dinner. The pork was cooked until it had not a drop of moisture, the Caesar salad was served with unaged, tasteless parmesan cheese. Service was unattentive. We normally would not dine at a timeshare and this event reinforced our original thinking. We had been told that their Truffle desert was amazing. Friday evening stay

We stayed her with my brother and to be honest we were not impressed at all. The room was big but the beds were not comfortable at all room 221. A few things around were a bit broken. It didn’t really look like a 3 or 4 star hotel and let’s be honest you do charge a fortune for what you offer. Breakfast? It was average nothing special just an ordinary continental breakfast. We stayed her with my brother and to be honest we were not impressed at all. The room was big but the beds were not comfortable at all room 221. A few things around were a bit broken.
