A bit worn, but worth it
We used timeshare points in an exchange. Dennis Port is well-situated Mid-Cape. The Breakers are on the other side of the street from the ocean, but all amenities are available. The oceanside heated outdoor pool is great. Plexiglass allows for an easy view of the ocean. There is a hot tub in the courtyard and also, an indoor heated pool. All are open until 10:00 PM. The Breakers are due for renovations in 2022, which is timely. The 1-bedroom unit was well-equipped with a kitchette, no cooking, but microwave, small frig & sink. 2 TVs. Perfect for a quiet winter getaway.
This is the best place for a quiet New England getaway. This is the first time in my 20 year membership with RCI that I chose to return to a location - 3 times. The unit is fully stocked and the staff extremely responsive to requests. The units are clean and comfortable with a gas fireplace in every unit. Light pollution!
We have a timeshare here, always nice in September. But today the pools were not warm, the fire pit wasn’t working. I forgot how much light comes in to the units from outdoors—the blinds just aren’t sufficient. Will have to sleep in an eye mask! Glad I brought one. It is clean. Check in went smoothly. Fully Stocked Rooms
We stayed here during our fall foliage tour. It was rainy and deserted while we were there which was disappointing. The rooms are large and well stocked. We thought this place would be ideal for a family trip in the Summer. They have a beautiful pool and fire pit area. We stayed here during our fall foliage tour. Worst stay ever!!! I am a BlueGreen Owner!
Beware! I have been a Bluegreen Owner for more than a decade. My family stayed at this resort years ago. It was a wonderful experience. We purposely asked to look at one of their smallest rooms to see if it was something that would suit my adult son when he visited there again. The room shown was very nice and was suitable for a getaway when needed. I told the staff repeatedly that this trip was for rest and relaxation. The staff assured me that on his arrival, there would be pots and pans and a hot plate in the room. I redeemed one years worth of points to book the first night of the weekend the rest I paid out of pocket in advance. My son drove from Western Massachusetts after working all day and when he arrived in his room, the shock of all times. The bed folded down out of the wall, the room was very tiny, there were no pots and pans as promised in the room, to top it all off, there was no heat and an awful smell when turning it on and he froze all night long. When the front desk was notified the next morning, we both were told that there was nothing they could do about the room and there was only one left with the same layout. I paid $623.78 for a bed that folded out of the wall and no heat???? I could've booked him elsewhere and had a better room. As a Bluegreen Owner for more than a decade, I have NEVER had an experience like this. My son was too exhausted to drive all the way back to western Massachusetts.
