Beautiful Costa Rica Resort on Stunning Papagayo Bay

Secrets Papagayo is a beautiful property. The resort is hilly and spread out, offering great privacy and fantastic bay views. Rooms are well appointed and sparkling clean. Housekeeping is excellent at this resort. There is a main pool with many activities and a quiet pool with spa music that is far enough away that the noise from the main pool does not interrupt the relaxation of the quiet pool. The daily yoga has been excellent and the ETeam is very active and engaging. Special callouts to Catherine, Nelson, and Fabiona. The Market Cafe is the perfect size and rotates offerings daily so there is something for everyone. The sit down restaurants have been great and all have outdoor seating. Worst vacation ever

Our stay at the Secret Papagayo was the worst vacation we had. The resort is in need of refurbishing in the pool areas and in the rooms. The five stars promoted is not a reality. We have been at the Secrets St James in Jamaica and were expecting the same standards. Mask wearing policy is not enforced and many people are walking without it and taking shuttles. When raising issues, staff smile and move on. Preferred club is small with a great bar but we did not feel welcomed as it was taken over by a group of guests and we would wait very long without getting a drink. Fun time in Costa Rica

I had the best time ever with the staff especially Tania was awesome Everyone was so friendly and and helpful I really enjoyed the classes stretch class, aqua aerobics and the Spanish class. Thanks for everything. Birthday celebration

Tania has the most energy i love when she dances and I did aerobics everyday,I loveee her. The service here it’s amazing the waiter,and waitresses are so kind,and friendly. There we go! Ocean vew room
