Отель на пляже

Нормальный отель в соответствии с ценой. Самое большое преимущество в том, что он расположен практически на берегу Желтого моря, где можно купаться. Море мелкое, нужно пройтись подальше, чтобы окунуться в полной мере, но это достижимо. Дно песчаное, ровное. Особенно повезет тем гостям, которые получат номер с видом на море и балконом. Закат там потрясающий. Номера стандартные, без изысков, но есть все необходимое, что положено в этой категории отелей. Завтрак, конечно, с китайским уклоном, но наесться можно. Из недостатков то, что отель стоит в одиночестве. Чтобы добраться до центра Янтая нужно брать такси. Российских каналов, разумеется нет. Но это вам не Хайнань! Здесь русских туристов в глаза не видели. Кстати, у меня в номере вылетела розетка и погас весь свет в номере, когда я попыталась поставить заряжать аккумулятор для фотоаппарата. Пожаловалась на ресепшен, они быстро вызвали мастера, который все починил. Больше проблем с электричеством не было, Нормальный отель в соответствии с ценой. Fairly nice rooms, poor food and useless gym!

The room I ended up getting was spacious and although a bit worn-down fairly clean. Although equipped with a shower in the bathroom, there was an actual bathtub strangely positioned in the “living room” next to the bed… Not sure what that was all about? It was really nice to see that the room was equipped with an iron as well as an ironing table! There’s also a gym at the hotel, but in all honesty it’s close to useless… It’s simply set up at the “outside balcony” of the end of what appears to have been a regular room when the hotel first opened. The “balcony” is “sealed off” but the area is still left rather freezing. As for the equipment, there’re some dumbbells, a simple multi-gym and a bit of cardio equipment – most of it crammed strangely together in towards the corner. There’s no complimentary water or towels – or anything resembling the setup of a normal hotel gym. As for the food, I only tried the breakfast buffet. There’s absolutely nothing exciting about that… The coffee tastes bad and is luke-warm at best, most dishes are Chinese and the milk intended for the available cereal is not even remotely cold… Contradictory of what official information online indicates, there’s no ATM at the hotel. On a positive note, the WIFI connection works fairly well. Would I stay at this hotel next time I’m in Yantai? No, not a chance. The upside is that it’s quite inexpensive so you could say you get what you pay for. Nevertheless, there’re surely better options are more or less the same price.
