Still wonderful after many visitis

I've had many trips to this hotel. Great infrastructure for families and this time I was on a business event. Great place for corporation events too. The room was well equiped, the hotel is still wonderful, big spacious rooms, lovely food and entertainment. I've had many trips to this hotel. Grand classic hotel

Taua Grande Araxa is a palatial old style grand hotel with columns and high ceilings and stature. We were staying for a very short time on business in the area so we had very little experience to enjoy the wealth of facilities and services at this big hotel resort. Clients who got the massages said they were excellent. Obviously the termas (hot mineral water springs) are a big feature. Big salons, sweeping lawns, comfortable old style room. We didn’t have enough time to appreciate this resort hotel but I’m happy to award five stars from what I saw. Historical, classic and sumptuous

The structure is amazing, looks like a kind of castle. A lot of green areas, lakes, nature, animals and more. The rooms are quite old fashioned but comfortable. The hotel atmosphere remembers brazil’s 40/50s. The thermas and spa areas has a lot of baths and massages. Look for the radioactive and sulfurous waters, you can taste then and bring a small amount with you too. You can visit the ruins of an old hotel too, walk in trails and see a lot of birds, like toucans, woodpeckers and kingfishers. And if you have kids or like group activities, the place is a must have on the weekends. Lots and lots of activities, guided by young, happy and fun people. EXCELLENT!

Everything about the hotel is superb! From the reception hall to the apartment, you feel like you're in a palace. Super helpful staff, delicius food, gardens and swimming pool. The baths (SPA) are absolutely fantastic an the massages, mmmmmmm... relaxing to the point you feel as if you're floating! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! Everything about the hotel is superb!
