Great location for White Mountain stay.

Overall this is a good place to stay in a pretty mountain setting about 10 minutes from North Conway. It definitely needs some updating and deep cleaning. The unit itself was decent, but needs work. For example, water stains on ceiling, paint scraped off doors, broken light cover on ceiling light, chunks of plaster missing, wall clock not working, dining table scratched and nicked, balcony in desperate need of painting. The unit was generally clean, but just needs more regular maintenance and some tlc. The unit was stocked with basic kitchen utensils, cookware, glasses, plates, and silverware. There is a Kuerig machine and a regular drip coffee maker with filters, but it is not like an Airbnb so don’t expect anything at all left in cabinets like spices, sugar, cooking oil, baggies, paper plates, etc. In room entertainment is very limited; no stereo, very basic hotel programmed/locked down tv, no dvd or smart tv options, etc. This isn’t necessarily bad, but just be aware if this is important to you. Also know that the WiFi is an open network with no passwords and is strictly regulated. The fireplace in the unit was very nice. There was also a washer and dryer that was very useful but you need to bring your own detergent. The king beds were very comfortable. The common area of the pools and hot tubs was not clean or well maintained and that was a bit disappointing. For example, leaves in the hallway and outdoor hot tub area, all moldings and doors were filthy and badly in need of painting, cracked fireplace doors, windows and mirrors were filthy, i.e., general cleanliness could be much improved. It is very dated and looks like nothing has been done to the facility in years. If an establishment is going to charge a “resort fee”, then the facilities should be maintained appropriately and reflective of “resort” quality. They were not. However, we enjoyed our stay and would possibly go back. It was a quiet and very beautiful setting for our stay. We went during the off season and the prices were reasonable for a one bedroom unit. I think if we had gone during a peak period and paid peak prices, I would have been more upset by the overall condition of the unit and the resort’s common areas. Holiday Get-Away

The resort is in a great location! The grounds are beautiful and well kept. We reserved a 2 bedroom condo Deluxe but from what we viewed online, I believe we got a 2 bedroom standard condo. The condo was quite dated and we were disappointed because we found it not as clean as it should have been. We spent quite some time cleaning and dusting! We did like the condo set up and space! It was just the right size for the 5 of us. We contacted the main office and the woman was very apologetic and understanding! She offered to send someone from housekeeping but at that point, we preferred doing it ourselves. The resort is in a great location! The grounds are beautiful and well kept. disappointed

The unit i got is totally different from the one described to me during the purchase process . This unit is all overpriced ,outdated, old furniture , moldy, unconfutable. Limited cookware . tv in bedroom very old at least 45 years old with no remote . Owner of this unit need to update his unit . Our November getaway

This is over 10 years staying at Nordic village resorts Highlands - the most relaxing few days of the year!!! Can’t wait till next year - condos are clean - staff is amazing - scenario is like no there !!! Beautiful

Absolutely a gorgeous property with outstanding views/amenities. My partner and I stayed in the king suite penthouse and we loved it! Very romantic and quiet-a perfect getaway.
