Don’t waste your money on the mixed drinks, try the beach instead of the pool

Currently staying at the hotel, it previously had stated it was adults only. Upon arriving there were a few families, wasn’t so bad. We left our stuff in the room and proceeded the the pool area. I jumped in the pool and the water felt warm. Possibly heated. We started with some drinks $140 pesos for a piña colada & a brisa marina. One was sweet and the other was ok. My boyfriend and I then decided to try the smaller size at $80 pesos each - a vampiro & a mango daiquiri, again, both too sweet to drink. I informed 2 waiters one had the vampiro remade, the other waiter said said they measure the alcohol, I don’t like to argue so I let him know we don’t mind paying for our drinks but all of our mixed drinks were too sweet so I made the switch. We loved it!!!

What an awesome place! We got the presidential suite (3br, 3 bath, kitchen, 2 balcony). Food was amazing (try the “Marlin al pastor”) access to the pool and beach through second floor is wonderful. We received a great treat from the moment we walked in. Staff is great and waiters really strive to to their best. Place is clean and nice. My wife took a spa massage and we used the gym also. All Inclusive 2 week stay adults only hotel

This hotel was given a 4* rating; more like 2*. Food was monotonous. Was served chicken which was raw in middle. On speaking to others at the hotel this was one thing that they had all experienced be it with chicken or pork. On 3 occasions the bath towel (more the size of a hand towel) had holes in it and frayed edges. The towels we were given for poolside weren't allowed to be changed daily - had to be every 2 days - however when I tried to change them after 2 days they had no clean ones to give out so it meant that on two occasions we didn't manage to get them changed until we'd had them 4 days! The double bed was 2 single beds pushed together and were so hard it was like sleeping on a brick. The pillows were dreadful. The room on our arrival was clean however during our stay, even when we hung the label outside our door requesting a clean, it was more like 'a lick and a promise' and a quick sweep. This is the ONLY all inclusive holiday we've been on where we have had to pay €3 per night to have use of the safe in our room (and we always do all inclusive on our 2 week breaks). It is also the only one that makes you pay €9.90 per day if you want your mini bar filled with two bottles of water, 2 bottles of beer, 2 soft drinks and a pack of crisps! Also the all inclusive snacks during the day (poolside) were a ham and cheese toast or a mini cheese baguette and only free from 11am to 1pm. Any other time you had to pay. Anything else like crisps, chips, ice-cream etc you had to pay for; hardly 'all inclusive'. Evening entertainment was dreadful and made Butlins Red Coats seem like West End musical stars! The ONLY 4* element of the hotel were the reception staff, bar staff and waiters/waitresses who were charming and helpful. Suffice it to say we shan't return there. They are not worried about you.

I had a big problem on New Year's Eve. I arrived at the hotel at the end of the afternoon, I went to take a shower to go to dinner and there was no hot water, they wrapped me up for two hours, and I was told that there were a lot of people staying and that there was no hot water. End of the story, I delayed two hours and took a cold shower. Not to mention the lack of respect at the reception and the slow and slow waiters in the pool area. The cleaning was not very good either. But the rooms are good and the best with sea view and balcony are very good. I had a big problem on New Year's Eve. Horrible place to stay

I decided to stay at this hotel because some people recommend it, however the first night We just found out that everything was a complete nightmare, the staff in reception have no clue of customer service when I complain about the room, which was a mess, towels with blood stains, filthy floors, just horrible nightmare. My recommendation will be to avoid this place for your own sake!
