Отдыхали в этом отеле неделю семьей ( мама, папа и трое детей 10,9,2 года) Остались очень довольны. Сервис очень хороший, все очень доброжелательны. Так как были с детьми , нам было очень важно, что делать детям, есть бассейн для детей, но очень поразил детский клуб, очень много предложений, детьми постоянно заниматься, делают всякие поделки, отдельное спасибо за это хочу сказать Zurisadai и Valeria, дети обожали ходить в клуб , спасибо огромное еще раз. Роберто отдельное спасибо, показал отель, каждый день нам что то новое показывал, очень доброжелательны. Еда в отеле превосходна, для взрослых тоже много развлечений. Хороший отель в тихой зоне Канкуна

Отель расположен на 5-м километре бульвара Кукулькан в зоне отелей. От аэропорта до отеля ехать 25 минут. При регистрации берут депозит, который возвращается после выписки. Можно оставить наличные доллары. Мы оставляли $200 за день. Меня очень удивило, что на первом этаже в зоне регистрации нет туалета! За счет того, что напротив находится остров Женщин(Isla Mujeres) здесь всегда спокойное тихое море. Рядом находится причал, откуда отходят паромы до Isla Mujeres. Мы останавливались в Master Villa. Это двухэтажная вилла с двумя ванными, кухней, гостиной и прекрасным видом на океан. Здесь без стеснений вполне могут разместиться 6 человек. В дополнение к 2-м спальням в гостиной есть диван и раскладная кровать. Кухня оборудована всем необходимым, только нет кулера с водой. В номере есть бесплатный Wi-Fi. Останавливался на одну ночь

В отеле останавливался на одну ночь.Утром уезжали в Козумель.По этой причине не могу ни чего сказать о сервисе отеля.После длительного перелета спалось прекрасно)))))).Завтрак был тоже достаточно вкусным. Канкун, который не спит!

Хороший отель, подойдет для молодежи и для тех, кому хочется жить не далеко от центра. Удобно: днем пляж и отдых, а вечером можно отлично развлечься и потусоватmся в барах и дискотеках. Много ресторанов на любой вкус и кошелек. А экскурсии дорогие, но стоят того. Номер хороший, удобный и не маленький. Питание отличное, очень хороший выбор всего. Рекомендую. Хороший отель, подойдет для молодежи и для тех, кому хочется жить не далеко от центра. Удобно: днем пляж и отдых, а вечером можно отлично развлечься и потусоватmся в барах и дискотеках. Хороший отель и удобно расположен, не далеко от центра Канкуна, в 10 минутах езды от торгового центра, ресторанов, и ночных клубов. Отличный песчаный пляж, вход комфортный, но глубина сразу. Часто большая волна. Большой корпус, много людей, весело. Номер просторный, чистый, много света и воздуха. Интерьер не роскошный, но есть все что необходимо. Питание отличное, много мяса, рыбы, морепродуктов, фруктов и свежевыжатые соки, все очень свежее - готовят при вас. Понравилось. Why you should stay at The Royal Cancun

The Royal Cancun is an incredibly well maintained older place. I love that it's not one of those modern high rises although it offers all of the amenities of the high rises. It has rambling walkways from one section to another with beautifully maintained gardens along the way. I go there once a year and every time I go I think the place is perfect as is. Then the next year, I find an improvement. It just gets better and better. The food is good and reasonably priced. Everyone is friendly and will go out of their way to make your stay the best ever. Very nice, with some caveats

Overall, the resort was very nice, in very good condition. We really liked the shuttle to the Royal Sands and the meal and other options there. Great food at La Trattoria. The staff was very nice and overall did a great job. Downsides: After reading a number of reviews we still did not know that this resort has timeshares in addition to normal vacationers. The push to participate in timeshare meetings the first day was annoying, but they gave up fairly quickly. We also did not receive the email that talked about the recommended airport shuttle arrangements, it went to my junk mail several days before the trip and I did not see it until after we were already there. We thought when we booked five or six months ago that it said a shuttle from the airport was included, but it was not! Was a bit of a pain to arrange transportation from the airport on the fly. I received an email several days before the trip from our concierge who said to ask him questions, so I did. Those questions (including about airport transportation) never got answered. We also ended up with a different concierge entirely. We felt completely safe from COVID, things were clean and staff always wore masks (even outside on the beach, which is just not necessary). However, the masks they wore were thick cotton and that made it harder to understand them sometimes, especially those with a thicker Mexican accent. Regular disposable surgical masks are so much better for speaking and comprehension! How they handled the pre-travel COVID tests was very easy and we appreciated not having to go elsewhere. Overall, the resort was very nice, in very good condition. We really liked the shuttle to the Royal Sands and the meal and other options there. Great food at La Trattoria. Royal Cancun - multiple restaurants available...NOT

Finding our usual Royal Haciendas unavailable, we thought we would Royal Cancun, sister property, . Royal resorts have a reputation for service, family friendly, and well-kept facilities. That was true for the Royal Cancun as well. The Royal Cancun is one of their older properties but still well-kept and clean. Stayed the week of Thanksgiving for our anniversary and a nice restaurant advertised was high on our list. Called days before we arrived to reserve a table but told only timeshare owners can reserve a table in advance! Non-owners can only reserve the morning of. Called morning of and only given late dining times. Expressed my frustration with the front desk, and they did open a table up. It shouldn’t be a fight to get service you paid for. Arrived at the restaurant to find place half empty. Still don’t understand why we were told there were no tables at the time requested. Aside from the typical buffet open to all, Royal Cancun advertises multiple nice restaurants accessible if you stay with them. After spending a lot of money to stay with them we were left feeling this is false advertising. These restaurants are nearly inaccessible to non-timeshare owners. Understandable trying to find a benefit for timeshare owners but a significant amount of money is from renters as well. We should not be treated like second class visitors. Have stayed at the Royal Haciendas several times and never run into this. If this is a policy change Royal Resorts wide, we will have to start looking elsewhere to spend our money on vacation. Aside from that being our biggest frustration, we knew going in that Cancun hotel strip resorts are noisier and beaches are full of random vendors. Did not realize how short staffed the pools and beaches were. Was not unusual to have to hunt for a waiter or wait a long time for one to come around. Room service was typically prompt enough though we did have 1.5 hour wait. I’m certain the experience at Royal Cancun would beat neighboring properties. Pluses include family friendly atmosphere. Pools are fairly well set up for kids and families. Beach was very shallow, only knee deep 50 to 75 yards out, which is great for kids as well. Though short staffed, staff on hand was friendly. Food at the buffet, pool/beach side, and room service was okay. We knew the experience would be different at Royal Cancun than Royal Haciendas. Our home away from home

We have been coming to this resort for 30+ years and we always love it. It is an older resort but we love the villa/Mexican look. It has been exceptionally well kept, always spotless, great food, drinks, service, a beautiful spot on a calm beach. Fun stuff to do from water sports to tennis. Staff is THE BEST. Love the location, close to the ferry to Isla Mujeres. you can fish from the dock. You can take free shuttles to other Royal resorts (to find large ocean waves) or catch a bus on the street and go anywhere for next to nothing. Taxi's are available and the club makes sure they are safe. Excellent security. We have been coming to this resort for 30+ years and we always love it.
