Massage at Experience massage

I have had a number of massages in my life, but the massage from Luis at Experience spa at almar resort was 100% the best I’ve ever had. I have a lot of back problems and Luis found literally every sore spot and knot I had and worked them out with precision without being painful or uncomfortable. He is truly talented at what he does and is a total sweetheart!! Highly recommend booking with him!! Nice setting but fhe building has problems

The property is nicely situated and the beach setup is excellent. We liked the music on all of the various levels. The service and food were okay but not remarkable. The major problem we had was with the building itself, especially because they’re doing a hard sell now on time shares. The concrete is saturated with salt air, the floors are always moist and the humidity in the room is actually not good for your health. We live in Miami and are familiar with these problems in older concrete buildings. The problem is not solvable without either a tear down or a total reconstruction with new concrete in the same footprint. Our only other comment is that the food and drink prices are as high or higher than Miami, which is very expensive. They seem to want to make a lot of money on the LGBT community without actually caring about us. The property is nicely situated and the beach setup is excellent. Unparalleled 5 star LGBT experience in PV

I absolutely adored my visit to the Almar with a friend in Nov 2021. The property absolutely made our vacation. I would never stay anywhere else in PV. We tried a different property whilst we were there and it just was not the same. The staff at the Almar are significantly more pleasant and the infinity pool and beach club are unrivalled in PV. Only area for improvement would be the food at the infinity pool which is fine, but not amazing. However, Francisco has to be called out for his 5 star service and friendliness. He remembered exactly what we would like and was a cut above the rest. As an LGBT traveller I can’t remember a time a felt more comfortable than at the Almar and like I was home rather than a guest in an unnamed hotel. Having a property like this for the gay community is amazing. All the guests were also friendly and easy to talk to and I am already planning to return for New Years. Disappointed

I have called 4 times about the air conditioning not working and they still don't repair it. This is an expensive "resort" but yet can't get the ac to work!!! I will update as we progress. Update Carlis and Assistant Guest Manager came by the room and saw there is no cool air movement but maintenance said there is nothing that can be done. Carlos and Francisco were very nice, polite Bs listened. Update 11:35pm No AC The hotel offered a free breakfast!!!!!! 300$ room and no ac and no attempt to repair it. The owners need to get a handle on the hotel I have called 4 times about the air conditioning not working and they still don't repair it. Room placement is key

So this is a top notch resort. HOWEVER ROOM 214 and down the hall are so close to the beach party and loud music don’t plan on sleeping. This also happens to be an adjoining room so the thin door between us A might as well be in their room watching TV. It does have beautiful views pools beach front and service is 50-50. But a bit too far away from Emiliano Zapata and Central PV. Taxis are plentiful as is traffic. Food is terrific. Enjoyed a HUGE hamburger and the apple tart to die for. Margarita was kinda weak. 5th Floor Eden infinity pool goes for yards w a view. Amazing. The room is beautiful well lit mood lighting comfy bed. Bad placement in the hotel. Service around the pool was hit or miss. Got a menu no one came back to take the order off had go to the bar. Then no one came back to clear dirty dishes (there was plenty of staff wandering around) Also recommend Charlie for a massage. 70 min deep tissue was amazing. Small but well equipped gym.
