Great location , This is not a resort

I booked this through the Wyndham app on my phone. It was offered as a Ramada Resort. This is not a resort the way I understand it. This is a time share condominium. Great location with beach front access!! There is no lobby as one might expect from a resort hotel. No Ramada logo to see either on the building or near the road. No breakfast or any kind of room maintenance is offered. You are expected to strip the bed(s) at the end of your stay. Phone was not working. Be specific about your room! Pictures meant to mislead

Overall I can see why some people might like this facility. It isn't the worst in the world, but it feels like an old renovated Ramada Inn Hotel (even though they have always been condos). Style and decor is very basic and outdated, but clean. When booking, however, if you want an ocean FRONT, do not go by the photo. It will show an oceanfront room but you will only get an ocean VIEW. There is a difference. Guest-wise, it's primarily older, retirees with their families and grandkids. If you want something more vibey or swank and current, this is NOT the place. Unfortunately we stayed while there was construction going on so, if we weren't on the beach or of the premises, it was nothing but power saws and jack hammers all day. As my luck would have it, I came down here for a semi working/vacay trip so… yeah, then there's that. :( Overall I can see why some people might like this facility. Nice but a bit Dated

West palm Orange beach is an older property with lots of potential.The resort exterior is dated and not maintained doors with paint peelings off,rust,and people smoking. The unit we stayed in 31D was nicely renovated with white and grey furnishings but,some of the couches and chairs had crumbs and stains on them. The way our room was situated we had ocean views and beach access from our room. BY THE WAY- There is only 1 available elevator available because of construction and Phoenix Gulf Towers is being built so there is a lot of noise present at the resort. Needs updated bad

Had to switch from escapes by the shore because they were doing construction. Palm beach has not been kept up. Lamp shade in living room half coming down. Lights in bedroom so dark you could not read if you wanted too. I pay a lot of annual maintenance fees to stay at both escapes and palm beach. Look at photos attached. Furniture is stained and appliances old. Where does our $1000.00 a year maintenance fee go to. Had to switch from escapes by the shore because they were doing construction. What the ...

Getting in contact with someone about the room to fix something is out of the question. Fridge was leaking (not cooling) spoiled the food we just bought for the trip wasted. Calling after calling after calling nothing. Getting in contact with someone about the room to fix something is out of the question.
