Очень крутой отдых !!! Спасибо большое , Таня ангел, кухня крутая , лалипоп я люблю , Бармены крутые , бассейн. Крутой , ребята все хорош е спасибо большое , мы ещё приедем , обязательно к Таня , она крутая , классная танцовщица . Ангел - его имя , он танцует секси Очень крутой отдых !!! Отвратительный отель
Отвратительный отель, омрачивший свадебную церемонию в Канкуне. Неожиданно, на 4ый день пребывания, именно в день свадьбы, отель заставил нас связываться с туристическим агентством, но тк рабочее время в Германии было уже окончено, заставил нас оплатить проживание повторно. И это в день свадьбы!! Хочется пожелать одного, чтобы каждый сотрудник этого отеля лишился работы. Эрика, якобы главный менеджер отеля, не делает ровным счётом ничего. Если просто говорить об отеле, то еда отвратительная, качество сервиса ужасное. Позор, а не отель. Отвратительный отель, омрачивший свадебную церемонию в Канкуне. Самый ужасный отель в Канкуне, максимум 3 звёзды!!!!
Всем добрый день! Мы в Канкуне были более 5 раз и в этот раз решили для разнообразия остановиться в этом отеле, о чем очень пожалели!!! Secrets Vine позиционирует себя как спа-бутик отель с большим выбором вина. Первое, что хочется отметить отель не соответствует 5 звёздам! Максимум 3! И внимание, по стоимости он практически такой же как и великолепные Hayatt Ziva и Zilara, а также Le Blanc. Первое, что хочется отметить, это очень уставшие номера, нет нормального душа, от слова совсем, ржавая лейка в стене, отсутсвие напора воды, а также ожидание горячей воды это отдельное «удовольствие». Матрас не комфортный, выбор подушек ужасный, они все одинаково неудобные и огромные, спишь как-будто сидя. Второе, питание в отеле спорное, голодными конечно не останетесь, но и кулинарных изысков не будет. Морепродукты как правило залиты острым соусом, либо вымочены в чем-то, а также зажарены до состояния угля. Горячие блюда, как правило холодные. Также скудный выбор фруктов и они все зелёные. Свежевыжатые соки, одно название, смешаны с водой 80/20, где 80% вода. В отеле, напрочь отсутствуют нормальные вина, видимо они только в названии отеля. Если Вам нравится, дешевое местное вино, то это однозначно то самое место. Третье, сервис никакой! Управляющая отелем не готова решать проблемы, а именно, если вдруг Вам достанется один из номеров с левой стороны здания, готовьтесь наслаждаться 24/7 шумом от вытяжек (см.фото), вместо звуков океана. При практически пустом отеле, менеджер не смогла предоставить достойную альтернативу. Общее впечатление, это худший отель за эти деньги в ZH Канкуна! Не приезжайте в этот отель! Классный отель для взрослых
Один из лучших отелей в Канкуне. Хорошее питание в ресторанах отеля на любой вкус (азиатский, итальянский, мясной (вкусней7ие стейки), рыбный, восточный), Добротный алкоголь/коктейли (лучшей маргариты ещё не пил нигде), хорошие номера (советую брать клубный, так как он предоставляет доступ к панарамному басейну на 14 этаже). Достойный спорт зал. Анимация разнообразная. Один из лучших отелей в Канкуне. Хорошее питание в ресторанах отеля на любой вкус (азиатский, итальянский, мясной (вкусней7ие стейки), рыбный, восточный), Добротный алкоголь/коктейли (лучшей маргариты ещё не пил нигде), хорошие номера (советую брать клубный, так как он предоставляет доступ к панарамному басейну на 14 этаже). Останавливались в этом отеле в сентябре месяце, очень довольны, все очень понравилось!! Отель на высоком уровне, персонал прекрасный, еда очень хорошая на любой вкус, территория отеля небольшая, но ухоженная , выход к морю близко и везде чисто!!! Хотела бы отметить из персонала парня, который ведёт танцы на территории отеля, просто супер, профессионал своего дела!!! Весь персонал очень доброжелательный!!! Нам очень понравилось , рекомендую!!!! Если ещё раз прилетим, только в этот отель!!! Останавливались в этом отеле в сентябре месяце, очень довольны, все очень понравилось!! Great Hotel, Amazing Staff
Hotel was great & I highly recommend upgrading to a preferred room (ask for one on the South side of the building for the sunsets). Staff were fantastic - Aldo & Rachel (the concierge team on 27) couldn’t have been more helpful, friendly and nice. Adrian & all the staff at Olios restaurant and Angel on the 12th floor pool also all deserve particular praise. Food was standard for what you expect at an all inclusive, but there is one area for improvement; the hotel needs to cater better for vegetarians. There are dishes marked as suitable for vegetarians, but have ‘beef’ in the title for example. Other dishes don’t include all the main ingredients, with the dishes containing meat but no mention of this on the menu. This was common across all restaurants & really needs addressing. Very nice trip. Service is great- Juan + Itzel
We spent 4 nights at the vine and are currently here on our last night. We are quite happy with everything at this resort. Although we feel the beach could be better, it’s due to the hurricane which took away a lot of its width. It’s still nice and the water is beautiful! I have to mention the reason I’m writing this review is because of beach severs Juan and Itzel (she works at the pool but covered for the beach the day we were there) they both (on different days) seriously came every 5 minutes to make sure we were okay- if we needed anything and made sure our drinks were always full and cold. I’ve visited cancun over 20 times staying at places like grand velas- to Hyatt’s and must say these two provided the best beach service I’ve ever had. Food is good all around, breakfast buffet needs more variety but it’s honestly very good and we never had something bad! We were in the preferred club and went to Olios often- Benjamin was our server and he was fantastic as well. I really liked this hotel- they are very strict about smoking on balcony’s which is kind of a let down as we’re on vacation and sometimes want to have a smoke while looking at the view! But nonetheless we had an absolutely fantastic time and service from everyone was great. We spent 4 nights at the vine and are currently here on our last night. The Vine is Sublime!
We just spent 10 days at The Vine - our second visit here and probably our 12th visit to the Secrets franchise. I can say without hesitation that this has not only been our best experience at Secrets, but also in any of the 20 or so other AI’s we’ve stayed in around the hemisphere. The service here is nothing short of spectacular - period! More on the individual personnel later, but we have been treated like royalty since the day we arrived. We stayed in a preferred club junior suite which is absolutely gorgeous, spacious and well-appointed. But even if you don’t opt for that upgrade, do yourself a favor and splurge for the preferred club. The perks are well-worth the incremental bucks. We preferred the north-facing side because the views of the peninsula are better. South-facing has the sunsets though. We normally split our time between the beach and the pool, but limited ourselves to the pool this year because I’ve been nursing a knee injury. We didn’t miss it at all however, because the preferred infinity pool on the 12 floor is so wonderful! Besides, the beach front has been cut in half by storms since our last visit 2 years ago. We heard that the Government is planning beach enhancement in the near future which would be a real plus. The 12th floor pool also boasts Olio - open only to preferred customers - for breakfast and lunch. After trying the Market Cafe and Barefoot Grill we found this exceptional restaurant far superior and varied enough for our entire 10 day stay. It’s also open to the general clientele for a Mediterranean-style dinner. We limited our dinners to Nebbiolo - Italian; Bluewater Grill - steakhouse and Dragon - Asian fusion - largely because it allowed us to explore our preferences in each. Like any restaurant, personal tastes and local food varieties - especially during Covid - can cause a bit of unevenness. Every meal wasn’t spectacular, but more than a few were and all were certainly above average. We found talking to other guests at the pool about their experiences and recommendations helped immensely. For instance, in Bluewater we would highly recommend the fish and chips (and, yes, in a steakhouse!) They use sea bass for the fish and a combo of sweet potato and beet chips. I hate beets!!! These were, however delicious! Their tarter sauce is a spicy mayo that works great with the fish. In Nebbiolo opt for the mushroom risotto - superb! Looks like too small a dish, but it’s so rich that the size is perfect. Also the gnocchi is wonderful. Good gnocchi is hard to do, but they nailed it! Request the shrimp tempura in Dragon. It’s not really on the menu, but since they use it in one of the rolls it shouldn’t be a problem. Pair it with the tempura veggies. The dipping sauce is awesome! I found the tuna sushi a bit disappointing. The fish was very good, but the rice needed … something. That said, the spicy tuna roll was great. Opt for the romantic dinner set up lagoon-side on a special platform outside Olio. Beautiful sky and the Hard Rock right next door puts on a fireworks display at 10 PM. A note on Olio lunch. Try the spinach salad and the fried snapper. The latter is a MX Secrets staple and when not overdone is excellent! Experiment and don’t be afraid to be critical of you’re not pleased. They really welcome your feedback. Can’t comment on the spa and gym as we didn’t use them. Fellow guests rated the spa highly, but said it was pricey. Entertainment was very good, but frankly we ate late and only caught the lobby sax and violin acts (sax and violins - sex and violence!? Never mind!!) Before I get to the people, please tip generously even though not required. It means a lot to these fine people and demonstrates gratitude where appropriate. Let me get back to actual personnel. I’ve saved this for last because I feel that just “listing” the special contributors without tying them to their accomplishments may certainly help management rate their personnel, but for YOU as a interested reader, I want you to know why they are so good. Our butlers on the 26th floor were David and Marrissa. Both were attentive and provided service that was above and beyond. They provided us with extra booze to supplement the two mini bottles of tequila and scotch in our mini-bar. (How ‘bout rum and vodka, Secrets! ;-) Adrian, our regular breakfast and lunch waiter at Olio (yep, just about every day!) was attentive and service minded. Giovanni was our waiter for the romantic dinner. He was a hoot and a great sever! We commiserated over a bit too much midsection girth! I won! Now, some of the stellar acts, but please note we had absolutely NO service that wasn’t top notch! Enrique, the manager at Bluewater was above and beyond! He would chase us down leaving other restaurants to make sure we were satisfied…. No, not satisfied - delighted! He even brought out his Sous chef, Oscar, when we were so enthusiastic about the fish and chips. He even sent it out as a bonus appetizer at a different restaurant one other evening! Then there is sweet, lovely Yasuri, the manager at Olio. On our second day lunch there, I had mentioned to her that our fried snapper (a Secrets staple) was a bit dry. Gasp! From that point forward she became our shadow guardian angel, showing up at virtually every dinner we had making sure it was perfect! Even at times double-teaming Enrique some nights! She even orchestrated our romantic dinner popping off the champagne cork sword-style (OK, OK she used a wine glass!). She was amazing!! And finally - last and CERTAINLY not least there is everybody’s favorite - the pool impresario, Angel! As I’ve mentioned, we spent just about every sunlit minute at the 12th floor pool. It’s lovely, convenient and calming; Angel makes it literally shine. If Secrets were to pick the perfect ambassador for its brand, it would be Angel! He is personable, incredibly hard-working and orchestrates the pool area like he was born to it!! (Even though until recently he was a lauded member of the entertainment staff.) Angel truthfully made a great vacation a fantastic vacation and we are very much in his debt for that! If you book the preferred club, (and you should!) you will know Angel! Tell him Donna and Bill said, Hi! Thanks to Angel and his incredible colleagues at The Vine! Alberto Cruz at the market cafe gave us excellent service. Very pleasant! Greeted us with a smile. Would recommend. Great atmosphere. He was so helpful. He made sure we were constantly taken care of. Great Trip to Secrets the Vine - Kudos to Manny on Entertainment team!
We had a lovely time at the resort. The entertainment staff gets most of the kudos as well as the restaurant staff who simply awesome since we are 100% vegeterian. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary, so the highlight was the awesome celebration that was hosted by Manny from the entertainment team. He connected so well and took the time to learn about what we enjoyed at the resort and ensure that we were taken care of. For the 25th celebration, he surprised us with this great decor on the beach and bollywood music/song that was our wedding song from 25 years ago. Manny was meticuluous on all the details and spent a lot of effort to make that evening special for us. From an opportunity standpoint, we didn't like the haggling by the timeshare people in the lobby who were trying to sell us their packages. We heard at least 4 or 5 couples that got scammed by them with the promotions that didn't add up to much. I know that timeshares sales people are sister company for Secrets the Vine, but honestly they are negatively impacting the brand. If the restaurant staff didn't go out of the way, the regular menu in some of the restaurants didn't have good vegeterian options. This can be addressed by making some changes. The biggest disappointment was the butler service on our floor. The lady spent most of her time on her mobile device or facebook. A couple of times she took request for our breakfast, but it never showed up on time. So that was a downer for us. All in all, we had a great time with various entertainment at the resort, the evening ambiance was simply outstanding, the various performers did a great job. We danced every single night of the 6 nights that we were there, including the Mexican night when the hotel staff simply did a great job. Our MVP award goes to Manny (and Gio) on the entertainment team who went over and beyond his duty to take care of us and simply made our anniversary celebration the highlight of our trip. While we tipped them well, Manny should get recognized for great customer service and doing a fantastic job! Staff: Fantastic. Extremely well trained, personal. Not just one but all the staff was extremely friendly. Especially Ramon, did a very nice job giving us a rich backgroud of Tequila. Facilities: Very nice throughout! Really upscale and the entertainment was fantastic!!! We were quite positively surprised with all the entertainment! We loved the shower in our room and the size of the room is very generous (junior suite) The only recommendation would be to increase the water temperature of the Jacuzi. F&B: Really nice selection in all outlets. Quite impressive quality as well considering its an all inclusive resort. Branded alcohol which is great. Two things that can be worked on is the quality of the coffee and the orange juice. Finally the speed of the kitchen service in the a la carte outlets could also be increased. Overall we loved our stay and definitely recommend the resort. Despite the massive operation we felt adressed very personally through many small things. We had a lovely time at the resort. The entertainment staff gets most of the kudos as well as the restaurant staff who simply awesome since we are 100% vegeterian. We were celebrating our 25th anniversary, so the highlight was the awesome celebration that was hosted by Manny from the entertainment team. He connected so well and took the time to learn about what we enjoyed at the resort and ensure that we were taken care of. For the 25th celebration, he surprised us with this great decor on the beach and bollywood music/song that was our wedding song from 25 years ago. Manny was meticuluous on all the details and spent a lot of effort to make that evening special for us. From an opportunity standpoint, we didn't like the haggling by the timeshare people in the lobby who were trying to sell us their packages. We heard at least 4 or 5 couples that got scammed by them with the promotions that didn't add up to much. I know that timeshares sales people are sister company for Secrets the Vine, but honestly they are negatively impacting the brand. If the restaurant staff didn't go out of the way, the regular menu in some of the restaurants didn't have good vegeterian options. This can be addressed by making some changes. The biggest disappointment was the butler service on our floor. The lady spent most of her time on her mobile device or facebook. A couple of times she took request for our breakfast, but it never showed up on time. So that was a downer for us. All in all, we had a great time with various entertainment at the resort, the evening ambiance was simply outstanding, the various performers did a great job. We danced every single night of the 6 nights that we were there, including the Mexican night when the hotel staff simply did a great job. Our MVP award goes to Manny (and Gio) on the entertainment team who went over and beyond his duty to take care of us and simply made our anniversary celebration the highlight of our trip. While we tipped them well, Manny should get recognized for great customer service and doing a fantastic job! Staff: Fantastic. Extremely well trained, personal. Not just one but all the staff was extremely friendly. Especially Ramon, did a very nice job giving us a rich backgroud of Tequila. Facilities: Very nice throughout! Really upscale and the entertainment was fantastic!!! We were quite positively surprised with all the entertainment! We loved the shower in our room and the size of the room is very generous (junior suite) The only recommendation would be to increase the water temperature of the Jacuzi. F&B: Really nice selection in all outlets. Quite impressive quality as well considering its an all inclusive resort. Branded alcohol which is great. Two things that can be worked on is the quality of the coffee and the orange juice. Finally the speed of the kitchen service in the a la carte outlets could also be increased.
