A roomy, comfortable room in a fun resort community

Joy and I came to VI at Homestead for a spring break vacation. We had a one bedroom suite, with a full kitchen. The room was very comfortable and clean. One nice feature that we've never seen before was the steam shower. It was almost like a sauna to have the steam and cold water flowing at the same time. During the week getaway

This is a very nice resort. The rooms are very nice. Unfortunately the bed was hard and not comfortable. We did not have a good sleep. The rooms are nicely appointed with kitchens. Unfortunately the folks across the hall from us were deep frying food and we could smell it for hours. What would be great for this hotel is if they have a proper deeper bath. Quiet condo living in a timeshare.

This resort is located on a golf course (beware of the 7am wake-up by the groundskeepers). Other than the early am (we needed to get going anyway), it was extremely quiet and our unit was very large. Plus: laundry facilities, hot breakfast available for a small fee, easy accessibility to the surrounding Washington State and British Columbia attractions which included hiking in the Cascades, visiting Vancouver and Vancouver Island (Victoria), Mount Baker etc. This resort is located on a golf course (beware of the 7am wake-up by the groundskeepers). Dissapointed in Hotel Management

The resort charged a surprise additional occupancy fees for an infant. We weren't aware they were going to do this before arriving. This ended up putting a huge damper on an otherwise great trip. Other then the occupancy fee, the resort is nice and well maintained. The resort charged a surprise additional occupancy fees for an infant. We will be back - nice surprise in a delightful town

First visit to Lynden on our way to Canada. Wonderful experience. Room was nicely decorated, clean, with a steam shower if we wished! Much more than we expected. On a golf course and very quiet. There is a "back yard" available with outdoor games for children on all ages - even has bocce. Lovely rockers overlook the backyard which made for a relaxing evening. They even serve ($3 charge) a waffle breakfast which was handy as we wanted to get on the road early following a great night's sleep.
