Northern Exposure at Spring Brook Resort

My family stayed at Northern Exposure. We had to wait until 4:30 to get in because it was not cleaned on time. We received a gift card for the inconvenience. The four bedrooms were enough for our party of 10. The kitchen was well furnished with the basic kitchen essentials. The dining area needed more seating so we ate in shifts. The deck was spacious and we liked being able to sit on the front porch in the shade and have a place for wet towels in the sun. The owner needs to address: new pool cues, running toilet, and the sand/uneven stones out front. The sand tracks into the house and the stones are a tripping hazard. Our kids loved the games in the basement. The pool area was great for our kids 4-13. We did not golf or eat in restaurant. Pool side bar was awesome! Bike trails were great. Very disappointed

We haven been loyal costumers with Spring Brook resort since 2010. No complains before. This time We stayed 3 nights at Eagles Nest house. It was a very disappointing experience. The bathroom’s door in the basement got stuck and we got locked in a couple times. The toilet seat was loose. The shower in the first floor didn’t work and the tub got clogged. The slide door didn’t work either. We saw cockroaches and a mice tramp. The couches and the outdoor chairs were in very bad condition. The grill was filthy like nobody cleaned up in years. This house is more expensive than the others and is not worth at all. Do no stay in this house. Is not confortable. We haven been loyal costumers with Spring Brook resort since 2010. We rented the BearClaw Cabin this past weekend.

We were a little disappointed at the condition of the home and the ammenities within the home. The TV in the living room appears to be going bad as the color and clarity of the TV was horrible. The fireplace blower was super loud when you first turned it on. The basement was really cold. The main floor tub had problems draining so we were not able to use it for taking showers. The Jacuzzi tub jets would not turn on at first. Most of the doors in the home would not close all the way as it looked like they had been kicked in at some point and time and were cracked. Some of the outlets in the master bedroom and bathroom did not work. It would have been nice to have scour pads to clean our dishes with and more than two kitchen towels and wash clothes. There should have been a nice big rug by the front door so that we could step on it so the floor did not get so dirty in that area with the snow that we had on our shoes. It would also be nice if you offered towels for the pool. We were not aware we had to bring our own towels. 5 stars for Black Bear Lodge!

From the moment we pulled in the driveway, we were all smiles at the presentation of the house and property. After walking in the front door, the house immediately felt cozy and inviting! The space of the house, the comfort of each room and all of the personable touches made our stay feel like home. The kids loved the whole downstairs with all of the games (air hockey, dart board, pool table, shuffle board) and the movie/theater room. Having a full kitchen, lots of seating for everyone and everything we needed to make our own meals, made our stay even more enjoyable! We will definitely be back and would highly recommend staying here! The convenience of being close to the clubhouse, restaurant/bar, pool and stores were also a plus! Housekeeping didn't exist

Been there many times and was great. This time though housekeeping failed to do anything I think. Asked to have management call me to discuss possible refund of $80 housekeeping fee. 1 week later and still no word from anyone. Been there many times and was great.
