Amazing

The waterpark at this lodge is really good. My kids had a wonderful time. The lodge is very well kept. The main lobby is decorated with many stuffed animals and has a western appeal. The restaurant of the hotel was really good. Staff was very professional and kind. The waterpark at this lodge is really good. My kids had a wonderful time. The lodge is very well kept. Weeknight Get Away

Although off season, it was a lovely get away with my husband. Enjoyed the hot tub in the water park area and traveled into Cortland for shopping & dinner. Service and food excellent. Maintenance of this property was impressive! Although off season, it was a lovely get away with my husband. Enjoyed the hot tub in the water park area and traveled into Cortland for shopping & dinner. Service and food excellent. Maintenance of this property was impressive!

Disappointing, untrustworthy, and a let down.

First, I was a little blown away that they try to make it possible to have 3 weddings in one single day at this place. I mean couldn’t even check into my room without interrupting a ceremony that was happening in the LOBBY (very awkward). I also had very little time to switch rooms as I was in a wedding myself that evening and would have liked to be settled in prior to the start of our night. I was then put into the wrong room two separate times before they told me they didn’t have any of the rooms left that I was told I had booked (months ago) AND according to 2 confirmation emails. I then had to sign a form stating that we would not step foot on any balconies (for maintenance reasons?) which was a little unfortunate. At this point, we had asked for a discount or any kind of refund after the back and forth moving of rooms and got nothing but a “I understand you’re frustration”. Disappointing. I am local, and I would have to say, unfortunately I wouldn’t suggest anyone book a wedding here. This is not something I typically do, “reviews” like this just don’t sit well with me but I felt as though nothing was handled properly. Our wedding was nothing short of amazing and if it hadn’t been for the poor organization of the hotel front desk staff and lack of help or empathy, I would have had the perfect weekend with a little less stress and frustration. Not a 5 star resort

Beds and rooms need updating.Beds are uncomfortable. Room lighting is lacking overpriced for what you get. The toilet didn't fill right had to manually fix the flap chain after every flush. Rooms could use more upgrades in amenities. Only plus was it was a beautiful place for a wedding. Beds and rooms need updating.Beds are uncomfortable. Fall Retreat

This lodge does a lot right. Our visit gave us some beautiful views of the mountains and forests that surrounded the resort. There were paved paths. you could walk if you wanted a little exercise too. The rooms were large and included a stove,, microwave, full refrigerator, dishwasher, even a toaster. We had dinner at the resort and the service, cocktails, and the food was very good. We ordered a blueberry lemon vodka sour, and a pear martini and they were addicting. The dislikes were minor. Out television and remote had a mind of its own. We gave up trying to use it and just pressed the buttons on the TV. The resort also has an indoor water park with slides, wave pool, rain falls, and hot tubs. We found odd that we weren't allowed the water park unless we paid an upcharge. We were only allowed to use the hot tub which was right next to all the other water attractions? We paid over $300 per night for our stay so I question why they want us to hand over more $$$. All in all this resort is very nice and located in a beautiful spot in New York State. This lodge does a lot right.
