A lovely Dutch Community

My daughter and I had asked to see if there was a suite available at 12 noon on the day we arrived. I had a commitment in Ventura County to visit with my son and his family. I was delighted to be accomodated and the suite was ready. We were able to unpack our car and then left to travel to see my son and his faimily. Clean, comfortable

Our unit was clean, comfortable, and in good repair -- except for the toilet which cycled periodically all night long. Soundproofing for the floor above and for the outside is poor. Luggage carts were very loud early in the morning. Charging for wifi, especially given the amount of money we have invested with Wyndham, is an annoyance. The walk to the downtown commercial area is easy -- about two blocks. Overall, a good visit. Excellent customer service and very safe and clean

Stayed here for 4 nights while enjoying this adorable little town and wineries. We are owners and were very pleased with every aspect of our stay here. All the staff were friendly and helpful especially Moses, who was there most of the time and took excellent care of us. The rooms are spacious and well appointed but most importantly they are very clean, making us feel safe during the pandemic. Highly recommend and will stay here again. Stayed here for 4 nights while enjoying this adorable little town and wineries. We are owners and were very pleased with every aspect of our stay here. The Friendliest Staff

As owners, we are so happy we discovered California’s Danish Secret! Although we had some issues with parking, the front desk lady Melissa accommodated us so gracefully. As a local, she had the best recommendations about restaurants, museums, you name it around town. She had an answer for anything and everything regarding Solvang. Her customer service convinced us to already book our room next year. Our room had an amazing view with a balcony and bbq grill. The property is filled with activities in the game room. We can not wait for our vacation next year. As owners, we are so happy we discovered California’s Danish Secret! We went through a Wyndham program to stay their. They matched an online dot.com price. THere was no resort fees added on.( Note: If you wanted wi-fi that was extra). We had a one bedroom with a full kitchen, spacious living room on the 3rd floor overlooking the mountains. The unit was clean. The bed was very comfortable. Each room I believe had a small deck with a gas grill. It is also located just down the street from the main Danish shopping area of Solvang. But the number one thing I liked, for a timeshare facility, no sales office to pressure you. That alone is worth 5 stars.
