Another great visit

Another great trip to the Divi Phoenix! The hotel was clean, in great shape, followed COVID safety protocols and grounds were impeccable. The food at the hotel was better than ever. The greatest part of the trip was the amazing staff who went above and beyond for us to make our vacation as stress free and enjoyable as possible. They are all so kind and hard working. Huge compliments to…Yvette Narayan, Christian Gonzalez (greatest bellhop/hospitality ever), Sandra Mora (who worked tirelessly always with a smile on her face), Julio and Julio from the beach (who are the kindest people and love my kids so much), Daniel and Kimberly at the front desk, Michelle at concierge, the security staff, the bar staff (Dino, JayAr, Sandra, Estrella, Julie, and Shawn), as well as housekeeping. This crew made us feel at home and deserve all the thanks. We can’t wait to be back “home” soon Another great trip to the Divi Phoenix! Vacation club members get preferential treatment here

We made our reservations for Thanksgiving weekend 2021 in May 2021 and paid in full at that time. We were unaware of the policy of this resort: They have a "vacation club" (essentially time shares for that one resort), and those members get preference in booking. They do not post reservations until one month in advance of the date booked and then do give preference to their members. We were told that 90% of the people who stay there do belong to the vacation club. When we arrived, they had no room for us at all but were eventually able to scrounge up a 2-bedroom suite (we had three adults and two children and had reserved and fully prepaid a 3-bedroom suite, so one of the adults had to sleep on a pull-out sofa with totally broken springs and no privacy). We are talking about a place that charged us $1,000 per night, so not exactly a discount location! There was a combination washer/dryer machine in the unit, but the dryer didn't work. (We traveled with another family, and theirs didn't either.) In general, the staff was not overly responsive to our various requests and complaints. It took three tries to get them to attend to bugs in the kitchen. The suite and entire hotel were very clean and we felt safe and well-protected from COVID. The food was excellent and there was a tremendous amount to do there and in the surrounding area, with which they were very helpful and attentive. My only grievance is with the room situation, but I do want to warn anybody who wants to stay there and is not in the vacation club that there is a risk of suffering from this preferential treatment. Like coming home

We had a great time. The perfect place to spend time with family and friends. After our stay for (almost) 2 weeks even some of the employees felt like family. The room was beautiful and clean. (And I can tell you the lady had a lot of work every day, lots of sand and shoes… we were with 7) The view (if possible) even better. We felt very welcome! We also felt safe, every employee and also the guest where aware of the COVID-19 measures and followed them. The lady from the towelhut ( I feel embarrassed I forgot her name ) deserves a extra thank you, she is very friendly, always, from early in the morning till end of the day, always a friendly word and a beautiful smile on her face ánd in her eyes. Working to improve her English at the same time ( I think it was more than okay already ) I really hope we can come back soon, no doubt we would choose Divi Phoenix again! I hope you find a solution for the “reservations” some of the guest make on the beach and by the pool by putting their towel at 7 o’clock in the morning and disappear for hours. Experiencing that the GM took my commend very serious made me feel less irritated. Thanks for making our vacation to a beautiful memory! (Pictures will follow) We had a great time. Divi Phoenix is a great resort!

This was our 15th visit and it is a great resort thanks in no small part to a great GM, Pearl Lake, who works hard to keep the resort in top condition, very efficient and family friendly. The beach staff, Julio and Andres, with several other great people are very friendly and greet us like family every time we return. The resort is in a great location and you can't go wrong choosing this as your vacation destination! Highly recommanded We had a great stay at Divi Phoenix! The room was well equiped and clean. The view from the room was beautiful and the staf was very helpfull and friendly. !
