Good hotel, comfortable room, well located if you like busy expensive urban vacation

I stayed in a 1-Bedroom. This is a good hotel (not a resort) only if you appreciate a busy loud crowded urban vacation. If Waikiki is your destination of choice, this hotel is a good pick, close to all the action (Royal Hawaiian center, 5 minute walk to beach). Rooms are very comfortable, well appointed and although all being smaller for Hawaii standards, there is enough space. Kitchen is well equipped (although dated) and washer/dryer helps. Living room has a nice couch and TV. Bathroom is very small and looks rather like a Motel 6. Lanai is a joke, so small, and so loud you can barely relax. This property is next to a HUGE parking garage structure, it feels like you are in Vegas or other urban location, car alarm beeps all the time throughout day/night as people try to locate their parked vehicles, jacuzzi is so small it fits 4-6 people max, pool is next to a parking garage too....not very appealing, and parking costs $40/day!!!! If you still want to come to Waikiki, you should have a car and drive around the island, prepare your budget....parking is a mess around the hotel, you will be stuck with $40/day because elsewhere is even more expensive and there is no legal street parking around....Perhaps you might want to consider nearby properly Imperial Hotel (will be cheaper and they offer $100/week parking special to some timeshare rentals). Overall this is a comfortable 3-star hotel, well located for Waikiki, needs some remodeling on kitchen/bathroom, rooms are very comfortable, very quiet, which is important. It's a safe location (not the area with homeless), but don't expect a resort, and don't expect a relaxing Hawaiian tranquil vacation, this hotel will offer an urban vacation in a warm tropical place. Terrible Place to Stay

Oh where do I begin? First we booked a full size suite (like was shown in the picture on the website) but we were given a mini suite (calling it that is being generous). The balcony was so small only one person at a time could stand on it. The tiny round table in the kitchen barely seated 2. And the overhead lamp over it was so low (with pointy ends) that you hit your head every time you got up from the table. The parking garage is just across the way and the alarm's kept going off on people's cars at all hours of the day and night. Two thirds of the swimming pool was 7 feet deep making it hard to stand and dangerous for small children, so everyone congregated in the one area by the steps. The salesman was so pushy that he called us 5 times in one morning. He finally stopped calling us in the room (cause we quit answering) and started calling our cell phones. They put an end table at the end of the hallway where you enter the kitchen/dining/living "cubicle" that you hit your legs on every time because it was such a small area to walk through to begin with (I have the bruises to prove it). And the air conditioning never reached the bedroom so it was hot and uncomfortable to sleep. We started referring to our room as the Wyndham Slums. This was the absolute worst Wyndham experience I have ever had. Oh where do I begin? Very Disappointed

We booked a 1 bedroom suite, what we got was anything but. The kitchen table is very small and you hit your head on the light. Mini kitchen, very small balcony. I had to walk sideways between the counter and end table it was that tight. $40.00 dollar per night for parking. I could hear car horns at all hours of the day and night. Rough start, but the service and hospitality really shined

Had a bit of a rocky start with some reservation confusion, but the Manager (Sean) corrected everything in a very eye-level way. Yoke and Charles at the front desk were excellent and really made the family feel at home the entire time we were there. Definitely a highlight to the property! The two bedroom room suite was amazing and the beach walk right out the front steps were family friendly and filled with activities. The bellman, Denis, was very helpful and the entire valet team were exceptional. We come home to Oahu as often as possible, but this was my first visit to those property. Great Location and Service

Had a great stay at this location when we visited in February. Since travel was down in Hawaii we were upgraded to the 10th floor. Nice view from the balcony of area buildings. Walking distance to Waikiki Beach. Restaurants just doorsteps from the resort. Had to have a reservation to use the pool which we did not do as there were places we planned to visit. Employees were friendly and we did the visit update for 45 minutes to make sure we knew about Wyndham time share changes. No pressure. Received a gift card for our time that we used to eat one night. Parking garage attendees were great. Condo had everything we needed and had plenty of space for the 4 of us with 2 nice size bedrooms and bathrooms. Can't beat this location!
