lakeview

Plumbing was an issue. Kitchen sink leaked, bathroom sink drained very slowly. King size bed was on wooden slats, made noise everytime I moved. Docks covered in spiderwebs. Lakeview Resort stay from 9-8-21 to 9-15-21

We stayed at Lakeview Resort from 9-8-21 to 9-15-21. Following is a review of our stay. I would not recommend anyone stay in Unit 39 until it has a thorough cleaning and repair of issues. Upon arrival the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in Unit 39. The Unit was the perfect location with views of East and West on the lake. Upon arrival at our unit we had to remove cobwebs and spiders to walk through the front door. Outlets in both bathrooms do not work. Deck furniture was covered with cobwebs and spiders on arrive day. I understand that this can be expected with nature, but I feel on our arrival day this area should have been cleaned for us. Instead we had to clean before we could use it. Kitchen window and counter was infested with ants. We reported this to management and they came twice to treat but we still were dealing with ants the day we departed. Floors were filthy dirty, the first day we learned you could not walk in bare feet or with socks on because they would quickly be black with dirt. Light bulb burnt out in kitchen. Moulding on the sliding door on deck was broken loose and hanging off the frame. We reported this to management on the first day and it was not fixed when we departed. Blinds and curtains were filthy disgustingly dirty. Vents were filthy disgustingly dirty. Drain in Master bedroom would not work, so I had to get under the sink to release it. Overall, good family vacation!

We stayed in the Blue Gill cabin from July 24-31 and had a good time. Living room was big enough to seat all of us. Full kitchen allowed us to save money by cooking in a few nights. Issues we encountered: lots of ants in our cabin and "pebble beach" was nicknamed "shard beach" as it was very painful to walk on if you didn't have water shoes. MAKE SURE TO BRING WATER SHOES! The kids loved all the amenities - game room, indoor and outdoor pools and the volleyball court. We felt comfortable letting our kids roam around in public areas and everyone was nice. Great family stay

This resort is a perfect family spot on a party lake. The pools are both clean, and the fishing access from shore and docks is first rate. Our cabin was far cleaner than any I have stayed at in Minnesota. Going South, not North from now on. Great family running it. This resort is a perfect family spot on a party lake.
