This resort is looking a little tired overall, tho clean . I had trouble getting luggage up and down the stairs , partly my age and a knee replacement. Stairs are external so were wet and slippery when it rained. There is no toilet near the swimming pool so have to hike up to unit for amenities. Best thing, it was very close to esplanade with the great walking trails and shops This resort is looking a little tired overall, tho clean . Basic complex to a relaxed bay region

ground floor needs security screens. region has reasonably priced restaurants a few of which are within easy walking distance. . Historical museum worth viewing. RSL has family dining nights. A good Experience.

Overall a good experience , shops, Pubs, Beaches close by and plenty of choice. We had a great Charter trip with Hervey Bay Fly and Sportfishing half day catching Good School Mackereal and Tuna. The unit is close by to most facilities either by walking or certainly driving.Location was easy to find and car parking available. Overall the Arlia Sands is very nice and in an excellent location. Unit was very clean and well supplied. Though I they do charge for some extras, but thats minor. The managers were very friendly and were there if you had any issues. They went out of their way to answer any questions. Overall the Arlia Sands is very nice and in an excellent location.
