Beach in the fall

Resort and room were great. Stephanie in reservations was very helpful. We had 4/7 days of good weather in mid October so the week stay was okay for that time of year. Swimming after dark in the rain in a warm pool was a great experience. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, and all others amenities one could wish for in the room and deck. Didn't think they should charge $15.95 for WIFI or over $100 for local hotel taxes -- both are firsts for us with an RCI stay. The only room complaint we had was the lack of grab bars in the tub. Very difficult to use low tub without more grab bars -- not just for seniors, but anyone would feel safer with additional bars. Covid measures were great, and you can't beat the ocean front location. Great stay

My husband and I stayed here for several nights and had a nice visit. The room was clean and the kitchen stocked with utensils, plates, glasses, and pots and pans. It was nice having access to a toaster, stovetop, and microwave. The only drawback was the noise that came in from the people down on the street, but the rains helped keep that to a minimum. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it was nice having a coffee place right in the hotel. My husband and I stayed here for several nights and had a nice visit. Wonderful Seaside vacation

We stayed an entire week in a 1-bedroom unit in Seaside. Our room was located on the 4th floor overlooking one of the streets close to the parking structure. There was some noise from the street below but wasn't too bad. The room had a partial ocean view and had a nice balcony. The resort staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was the slow internet speed at the resort. When connecting to the resort wifi, we noticed the download speed was super slow on all of our devices. I reported this to the front desk but they were not aware of any issues. Overall, the resort is beautiful and the location is right next to the ocean. Resort Good, Concierge/Timeshare Bad

If you're looking for review on resort only: I would give it 4.5 stars. Very clean, can't beat the location, friendly staff, great pool. No to minimal resort activities (unrelated to COVID). I wouldn't hesitate to book a family stay here though. Parking is included in your stay, and you can walk to everything in downtown Seaside. Wifi is $15.95 for 10 days or $4.95 a day. Concierge/timeshare: This would get 1 star. We're not new to the concept of time shares or presentations. We almost always turn them down. I talked to Quinton who is the concierge lead and was a told a certificate for a free week at any Worldmark (subject to availability with times) was the offer. I asked about black out days, verified free, verified this resort was an option and expiration date. Well NONE of the resorts are free - there is an upgrade charge for a week at any of the resorts (up to $1500!!!), Seaside is not available and it's not Worldmarks it's mostly RCI. I asked so many questions on 2 phone calls before agreeing to take time our of our limited family vacation. NEVER would have had I been told the truth about the offer. A cash offer for a presentation was under our door when we got back!! I called to give feedback, truly just to say hey please make sure your staff have correct info. Nicholas the guest manager answered and asked to pass my info on to the marketing manager because he was sure "we could work something out". He never called, Quinton called again and said oh yes you need to speak to a manager and confirmed my cell number. That was Tuesday. This is Sunday and I've had no contact from the hotel or the marketing manager. It really left a sour taste in our mouth about this company and how they're doing business. Felt like a bait and switch and based on our experience at the actual resort we didn't' expect that. Additionally, I was told $20 was to "hold" our spot and that would be pending and refunded when we showed up. That charge posted to my account, which I am also now having to deal with. We likely won't be back to this resort sadly, after many visits, due to poor customer service and values. If you SKIP THE TIMESHARE no matter what they promise you will likely enjoy your stay. Spring Break

Rented a 3bed/3bath penthouse. Amazing view and accommodations. Fully stocked kitchen, nice dining room and wonderful patio with grill. Beds were very comfortable. Pool and hot tub by reservation via an online system made it easy and painless. COVID guidelines were followed. Excellent location, right on the beach. Everything was a few a blocks away.
