Staff is very uninformed of open times regarding restaurants, phones not connected, weak wifi

We golfed 18 holes and since it was off season I asked in the club house after 9 holes if we could go upstairs to the sports bar and have lunch and play the next 9 holes when we were done and we were told yes. We went upstairs and the sports bar was closed. We then went to the front desk to asked if Tropics, their other restaurant, was near by for lunch. Not only were their directions poor, but it was closed when we got there. As a result, we finished but never had lunch and the proshop didn't have anything as a snack (hotdog chips etc.) to offer to eat. The wifi worked sporadically, 2 land line phones in the unit which were not connected, and a gas fireplace that didn't work. This is a Wyndam resort - I think they need to step up their game. Poor

Disappointed

Very disappointed with the condo unit. Very old and was not clean. The condo looked like everything was original. The view was nice of the golf course. The golf course saved the vacation because we came to golf and it was very nice. The staff was nice. The surrounding area was beautiful. If I was an owner there I would be very angry with the condition of the unit. Very disappointed with the condo unit. Very old and was not clean. The condo looked like everything was original. Outdated, run down and stinky pillows

Had high hopes but as time passed, little things started to show up. Like how dated some things were and even a fresh paint job might help give the place a better pop. There was an area where the ceiling had water damage and even the carpet on the stairs was coming off. After a long trip and ready for a good nights rest, we go to lay down on some VERY NASTY, STINK PILLOWS!! All pillows smelled terrible! Never had I ever had to go to the store to buy pillows for a stay, and that goes for even some cheaper hotels that I have stayed throughout my life. Apparently only the golf course is their priority. Not sure how the the hotel is, but did go to the indoor pool which was supposed to be heated. I mean it is heated but barely. Typically they are warm to get into but felt so cold. And usually the windows are steamed up from the heat and that is how you know it was set to the lowest setting. In there is a hot tub with caution tape all around and there was also only 4 towels. Disguisting

Don’t stay here. Came in today with a large group for tomorrow’s football game and rooms were disgusting. Several room keys didn’t work, toilet was filthy and unflushed (use your imagination), leftover pizza in one room with used towels on the floor. They obviously couldn’t handle our group. I would definitely NOT recommend Lakeview Golf “Resort”. Horrible place. Don’t stay here. Came in today with a large group for tomorrow’s football game and rooms were disgusting.
