vacationers beware

i recomend this resort

this resort is the second time that we used for our family vacations there are two big rooms in the level one and one large living room with two balconys and a full equiped kitchen very clean and comfortable this resort is the second time that we used for our family vacations there are two big rooms in the level one and one large living room with two balconys and a full equiped kitchen very clean and comfortable

Excellent resort!!

We were for a week, all people there was very into help you in anything you need!! The resort, even that is under renovation, it was pretty clean! Pampatar, the city were the reaort is located is a has awesome beaches!! We were for a week, all people there was very into help you in anything you need!! Not a bad resort

We have just got back from a stay at the Hippocampus resort. This resort was not that bad. Check in was a bit of a pain as our reservation could not be found. We had to leave and go back to the hotel an hour later so they could clean a room for us. The rooms were clean and roomy. The A/C was lovely and cold which you will need as it is steaming hot on Margarita Island. The only problem with the A/C was it was rather noisy. We did not get to use the pool at the resort as we were out most of the time. But they had a lot of activities going on for the young and old. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times, which we had no complaints at all, the food was very good and it was a good value for money. Not like a lot of the restaurants on Margarita. If you think you are going to go to Margarita and get a good value for money on buying things there. You are totally wrong. It is so so expensive there. I was thinking I would buy a lot of things to take back home, when in fact I did not buy a single thing there. The Hippocampus mentions it is near a beach. We took a walk down to that beach one day and we were not impressed at all. In fact it was a little scary down there. It was full of police which was shocking as you do not see many police at all on the island. The Hippocampus was a nice hotel and if you go to Margarita I would recommend anyone to stay there.
