Great location in JH

Walking distance to square, it was “off season” - many restaurants & shops closed till May. Unit above very noisy, .....nice size & big kitchen. Friendly staff, would stay here again. Base Camp

We decided to Stay at Jackson Hole because it was a doable drive to The Grand Tetons, West Entrance of Yellowstone, and to Alpine (Snake River Gorge). All drives are within a couple of hours. This time of year the southern entrance of Yellowstone thru Teton was closed unit May. We used RCI points which may have been better suited paying for the room straight out. The Hotel is just what it says a Hotel with a kitchen (not a resort). It was convenient to restaurants, shopping in town. The young man who ran the check-in desk is very helpful and polite. And would go out of his way to accommodate any request. About the room, it’s a rustic western style Motel 2 floors, outside stairs. No covered parking. Full kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher. Room was cozy and clean. The television was small and very limited channels. Just be sure to ask for interior rooms, the exterior rooms will have the all the road noise and all alley ways. And the trash runs 5-6 am every other morning. Very Nice

We stayed here 4 nights. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Windows that will open, which was nice. There is a good size kitchen with everything you need. The heat and air is for the main rooms only. There is none in the bedrooms so beware if your staying in cold or summer months. It was ok for us as we were there during nice weather. The beds are not very comfy but hey that’s sort of a norm when vacationing. All in all it was a great place for us and we would stay here again. We stayed here 4 nights. Lack of heat in the bedrooms

Although we enjoyed our stay in Jackson Hole, the facility at Jackson Pines needs to have a heating source for the bedrooms. The only heating source is in the main room of the house, and they were on timers which we could not overide. We had to leave the bedroom doors open while sleeping to stay somewhat comfortable. On the first morning we did not have any hot water, however, the problem was rectified the second day. Although we enjoyed our stay in Jackson Hole, the facility at Jackson Pines needs to have a heating source for the bedrooms. Great base in Downtown Jackson.

For me this was/is a 5 star experience, but it woukd be a stretch to call this motel conversion a resort and I dont want to lead anyone astray. But hey it is in Downtown Jackson 2 or 3 blocks from anything you might need. We were there to ski so the non-resort was fine by us. Commute and parking at Jackson Hole Ski area was manageable and better than expected, although bear in mind this was late Jan. Public bus options are available with a bus stop adjacent to the Pines. BTW the "pines' are less visible from the street than expected and we almost drove by. I have been watching/hoping for availability in this property for years and finally it worked out.
