Pleasant off-season accommodations

The Ocean High unit we had easily accommodated 4 adults. The unit was comfortable and included everything we needed. The unit was clean though was in need of a serious paint job and some refurbishing. The location was excellent- walking distance to the beach (.6 miles), restaurants (starting with a McDonalds .3 miles) and even an in-season amusement park. (.3 miles). Lots of steps a red flag for someone with a disability. We are ardent road cyclists and the bicycling around the area was very good. Ocean City and neighboring communities have made a real effort to establish bike routes and lanes. The Ocean High unit we had easily accommodated 4 adults. The location, size of the unit and view were all fabulous. The unit is extremely outdated, needs new carpet, flooring and appliances at a minimum. Check-in was easy and friendly. We left on Sunday so when I called to report that we turned off the dishwasher because it was leaking, I was told to call back Monday at 9am because they were taking emergency calls only. I called Monday and reported this, plus asked if they could call me back after cleaning to see if we had left something there...no return call. very nice resort

We had a nice time at this resort in Ocean City, Maryland. The location is convenient, very close to all the activity in Ocean City; but it is also removed from the main road, so therefore quiet. The rooms are large, with stairs which was fun. The room is quiet and roomy. Plenty of electrical outlets for gadgets and recharging. The kitchen was find and all appliances worked properly as expected. We had a nice time at this resort in Ocean City, Maryland. Dirty and filthy - Must sign Covid Waiver

I am not even sure where to begin. I usually don't write reviews but this was so gross I felt I had to. I arrived at 4:00 pm on a Friday - which I know was early and I acknowledged that I was early, so to be fair I am not upset about the wait as check in was 6:00 PM . They said they would text me when the room was ready. The text never came. When I checked in at 6:00 pm I expected I would have a clean room. We ended up spending the first night cleaning all the counters and cabinets in the place with Clorox wipes as my husband is infection control and we were not comfortable with the level of cleanliness. I have attached photos - this is not a week's worth of grime...this is grime that hasn't been cleaned in a long, long time. I usually book a place with a kitchen so I can save some money on eating out while on vacation, but I didn't feel comfortable cooking in the kitchen - the measuring spoons were stuck with some sticky substance to the cabinets and the pots and pans were simply tossed under the sink where the pipes were. In addition, several items in the room were missing. I tried to call the office twice with no return call either time. Once on the 10th when I checked in and once later in my stay. Weekend trip w/family

Overall this place was "ok". It was a last minute getaway so our options were limited. We stayed in one of the townhouses and while there was plenty of room for our family of 6, the layout is a bit challenging with all of the stairs (split level layout). If you have issues with stairs then this is not the place for you. Although the place was well stocked it needed some updating. The bathrooms are terribly small so if you are tall or a bit heavier you will have a challenge. The location was fantastic! Overall this place was "ok". It was a last minute getaway so our options were limited.
