It is a very relaxing environment, away from the hustle and bustle of life

The amenities are good and very intimate. The staff is very friendly and hospitable. The only critic that I have is that it is a very tiring walk to the beach and the fact that there is no sea view from any of the chalets. The amenities are good and very intimate. Very small

The chalets are extremely small especially the second bedroom. We had no room to move around the bed or put our suitcase anywhere. The bath was in need of a refurb. The area is beautiful and wonderful to be able to access the beach and the raohia palm walks from the chalets. Mtunzini is a well maintained beautiful little town. Family Visit in December to Mtunzini

The Lodges are less than 5 minutes walk to the private beach. The lodges themselves a comfortable for family of five. There is also a 9 hole golf course which is less than 10 minutes form Mtunzini Lodge. There are plenty of family run restaurants that provide a great and homely experience. One of the hidden gems in Kwazulu Natal. There are a lot of monkeys that try t steal food form the chalets so visitors are advised to keep doors and windows closed at all times, the rooms do have air conditioners. Cosy and Relaxing

The lodge is nestled in between lush tropical foliage . Feels almost like a tree house setting with the cabins being hidden in the trees and made from logs. Staff were all very helpful and welcoming. We called to have a housekeeping issues sorted and it was sorted out promptly and without any issues . Inside the cabins it was simple but clean and comfortable (for a small family ). It is very very hot but with the fans and windows it is manageable . However due to load shedding the heat did build and could become quite oppressing at times . Would suggest you pack in some torches and lights for Incase as only a single candle is provided in the cabin . There is a lovely walk to the beach and small trials originating in the lodge as well . The entertainment facilities are also good great pool area that’s recently been updated . But the only inconvenience wouls have to be the driving surfaces in the lodge . Family fun

A very large family group went to stay here for the weekend. It’s clean and tidy, but shows the signs of wear and tear. The pools were great fun and the kids loved them. But it’s set in in the most beautiful forest location, with birds and monkeys everywhere. And there is the most amazing beach in walking distance. It’s good value for money and if you make your own fun it’s brilliant. A very large family group went to stay here for the weekend. It’s clean and tidy, but shows the signs of wear and tear.
