Beach Club at Montego Bay

Look elsewhere for an enjoyable place to stay! Dirty! Old and in disrepair! It was without a doubt the worst place we've ever stayed. The furniture was shabby and the carpet was dirty. The bathroom was so small that you couldn't even fit a bathmat on the floor. The bed was situated in front of a large window that looks out into the hallway. If we hadn't just driven 10 hours we would have left immediately. Instead we left after one night, finding a much more suitable hotel just down the street thereby salvaging our vacation. Beach Club at Montego

We have owned 2 weeks timeshare here for over 15 years. You will and can certainly find nicer places, with bigger pool, lazy rivers and fancier rooms. But this place is clean and has private beach access. My kids have grown up coming here. And although it is not fancy, we love it. It is comfortable, clean and the staff is always helpful. If you just want to have a great vacation on the beach then this is it. We have owned 2 weeks timeshare here for over 15 years. I hope the new management company will do some much needed upgrades to this property. It is prime oceanfront property and I have always liked the size of the hotel versus a larger one. But it has needed an overhaul for quite some time. I have patiently waited for our unit to be upgraded in any way, and this has not happened in quite some time, but others have been. I hope the new management company will do some much needed upgrades to this property. It is prime oceanfront property and I have always liked the size of the hotel versus a larger one. Montego review

Capital vacations did a horrible job with this resort. None of the rooms were ready when they were supposed to be. There were lots of people standing around waiting for hours. The rooms weren't cleaned and missing alot of items. The ACs in several rooms didn't work or blew warm air, the garage cans on every floor were over flowing with trash spilled on the ground. A family member waited 2 days to get a shower curtain for their room. I could go on with stories. This resort was never like that while ran by defender resorts. We didn't get to come last year because of Covid but we have become down there over the last 30 years.

We stay on the 5th Floor in a ocean front that has a spectacular view of the ocean. We drive down from Ky and it is about a 9.5 to 10 hour drive and we are looking forward to coming this year and seeing all the friends we have made over the years.It is great seeing your Montego family and Lisa is great at the office.She knows who you are and does everything to make you stay there special. Yes if you think you are going to the Marriott move on down the road it is not that but a very special place to me and my wife. Last time we was there with my daughter and her children was August 2019.Had to say August 2020 but was 2019 and we missed it.
