Old and noisy apartment

The condo itself is very old. These are timeshare owners.In the 10th floor in the north wing the electrical room board is very buzzing. We went to reception and asked to solve this problem. The technical came and said that the issue will be fixed or we will be moved to another room. Five hours have passed - we were waiting and did not unpack the suitcases. Eventually we hear back. We are told that since the apartment is in the private property, all questions should be addressed to the owner. My advice: do NOT use the services of local realtors. We had the imprudence to have a contract with local realtor Cindy from Daytona Ocean Rentals. She told us that she cannot help us with the noise as all of other apartments are busy. We lost all alternative accommodation options and agreed to stay in the original apartment. She also did not provide any documents on payment for the apartment. In addition to the noise very upset disgustingly working Internet.The interior of the apartment is extremely old-fashioned. Besides the excellent view of the ocean, I can’t say anything good about this place. The interior and equipment of the apartments is extremely old-fashioned: a cassette tape recorder, dishwasher, a dangerous threshold to the balcony, etc. Сам кондоминимум очень старый. Большая часть людей нам попавшихся в Wyndham из проживающих это обладатели таймшера. Ни в коем случае не селитесь на 10-и этаже в северном крыле. Очень очень сильно гудит электрощитовая. Когда мы обратились на ресепшн с просьбой решить эту проблему - сначала техник сказал что Да / гудит очень сильно и он поговорит с менеджером чтобы подобрали другую квартиру. Прошло пять часов, мы не распаковываем чемоданы/ждём переселения. Приходим на ресепшн спрашиваемся что с нашим переселением - нам в ответ говорят это квартира в частной собственности - все вопросы к собственнику. Никаких извинений что нам забыли сообщить, что проблему решать никто не будет. Так мы потеряли почти целый день. Из этого первый и самый важный совет - не пользуйтесь услугами местных риэлторов. Мы имели неосторожность иметь контракт с местной риэлтором Cindy из Daytona Ocean Rentals. Наше знакомство началось с того что мы через неё авансировали другую квартиру, через какое-то время она заявляет что та квартира занята. Мы к тому времени потеряли все альтернативные варианты размещения и согласились хоть на что-то подобное и это вляпались на наше несчастье и Wyndham Ocean Walk. Риэлтор когда ей не надо быть на связи говорит что что наши письма все попадают в спам. Она также не предоставила никаких документов по оплате за квартиру. И конечно когда мы получили эту квартиру с невыносимым шумом она наобещав также исчезла и более не выходила на связь. Кроме отличного вида на океан, ничего хорошего про это размещение сказать и не могу. Интерьер и оборудование апартаментов крайне старомодны: кассетный магнитофон, наработающая посудомойка, опасный порог на балкон и т.д. The condo itself is very old. Daytona bike week

Отель очень старый, лет 15 назад был крутой, а сейчас так, остатки былой роскоши. Жили в сьюте на 24 этаже вид из окна супер))) на счет сервиса и еды ничего сказать не могу, жили 2 ночи за это время номер не убирали ни разу - дают скидку на время bike week и на всём экономят Отель очень старый, лет 15 назад был крутой, а сейчас так, остатки былой роскоши. Not at all pleased!

This place has really run down in the 18 years we’ve been going. The room appeared to not have been cleaned. We will not return. Made our next year reservations somewhere else. Few issues if they matter to you. I drove from Pennsylvania for a beach vacation… paid for ocean front…. But Some of the rooms have concrete balconies…. ( mine is a concrete balcony) Blocking 3/4 view while sitting on deck. You literally have to stand the whole time if you’d like to enjoy the view. The next issue is…. Check in… you check in…. Get sent to another place for parking pass…. Then get sent down the road for room keys and parking pass……the sun is literally…. Over both pools 9 am -12… then it goes behind the building. Don’t ask to change rooms , because they’d be sold out… regardless of their website….because I booked direct… but third party runs it. If they get your money and you aren’t happy…. Ok well…. Find another place in Daytona Beach

The place has seen better days. Basically it is a dump. Of 3 bulbs in the bathroom, one works, fluttering. The battery in the door to our room was dead, so we had to call for service. The fridge was so loud that I had to unplug it, And facing Atlantic Ave was a very loud adventure. STAY AWAY. Very disappointed in AAA for sending us there The place has seen better days. Sparkling clean but not many amenities

Really beautiful property, modern and well taken care of. We enjoyed the staff and the pool area so much. We had a 1 br deluxe and LOVED the jacuzzi pool, so worth it. We had a view of the parking structure unfortunately but still a cool view of the city of Daytona. My biggest head scratcher was that this resort had no real restaurant and no spa. Just a small bistro/Starbucks that ends breakfast at 11am, not ideal for those traveling from the west coast. Nice place and would recommend. Just wish there was a a spa and restaurant. This is NOT a hotel

To start - understand that Wyndham Ocean View is NOT a hotel. It is a mixed-use condominium consisting of timeshare owners, full share unit owners and common use resort facilities. If you book a room through Wyndham Extra Holidays, you're renting a full share owner's unit - think of it as a AirBNB for Wyndham condo resort owners. That said... The good: full balconies facing the ocean, wonderful views, spacious unit (we rented the one-bedroom ocean view suite), full kitchen, washer/dryer, good location on the beach, decent resort amenities. Got to see a night time SpaceX launch from our balcony (how cool!). The bad: To use resort amenities - you have to get wristbands for you and your guests and the check-in desk sends you down the hall to the timeshares salespeople. Just say 'no' and ask for your wristbands. Nothing in the reservation said unit vacation renters would be subject to a sales pitch or con you into a $40 deposit to attend a 90+ minute sales presentation in return for a free vacation. More bad... people smoking pot and cigarettes on their balconies on either side of our unit making our unit smell like an ashtray. The unit we were originally booked in - the carpet around the kitchen counter was damp and reeked of mold and mildew. We asked for (and received) another unit the next day (which brought my original 2 stars up to 3). A few attention to detail things were noted, but didn't detract from our visit. Otherwise, this is Daytona Beach - a typical Florida touristy coast town... you'll either love it or hate it.
