Отличный ресорт All inclusive с широким и длинным пляжем

В этом ресорте второй раз, спустя 10 лет. И все также нравится, не разочаровал. Здесь еда и напитки, которые нам нравится, фрукты и овощи по-сезону (на новый год - папая, арбузы, дыни, мандарины, юка и касава иногда бывает). Рыбы много, алкоголь в буфете не так разнообразный, но хороший, чилийские в основном вина, пиво местное. Соки дети брали разные. Очень любим их рестораны А-ля Карт. В основном это морепродукты или средиземноморская кухня, есть Стейк-хаус. Попробывали панамский ресторан, понравились только блюдо из рыбы и свинные ребрышки. остальное очень острое. В салатном баре предлагают иногда кальмары и лосось копченый. Кофе вкусный панамский - люблю. И моя любимая рыба - дорадо. Вкусные разнообразные легкие пироженные. Широкий и длинный берег с белым, иногда с вулканическими блестками песок. Хотя 10 лет назад он казалася намного темнее. В январе океан спокойнее, чем я была в прошлый раз в ноябре и приливы не такие страшные уже. Гулять по берегу можно часами, если не боитесь солнца, А оно здесь очень выжигающее, чувствуется близость к экватору. Мы так доходили до соседнего Рио ресорта за час. Люди на пробежке по утрам, с восходом в 6,30. Номер вообще-то большой, 2 double bed + sofa, но нас было 4 (с детьми) в этот раз и места было маловато. Просила больше шампуней ложить. Фен есть. Вода жесткая, вожу с собой кондиционер для волос. Берите крема, здесь не дают. На ресепшен магазин - необходимое можно купить, но дорого. Вечерние Шоу - самая привлекательная часть, в 9,30 Один и тот же коллектив уже много лет развлекает своими потрясающими танцами, а их руководитель вообще классный, так заводит публику - молодец! и через день игры с аудиторией. Перед шоу - час на караоке, в основном испанские песни, но можно заказать любые заранее. По поводу транспорта до ресорта из Панама-сити или аэропорта. У нас в этот раз не включался, искали самостоятельно. Все транспортные компании нам задирали цены в 50 USD с человека в минивэн. Дороговато. Мы тогда заказали экскурсионный тур из Панама-Сити в Anton Valley и попросила с доставкой в ресорт. Вышло намного выгоднее. Но на орбратном пути мы заказали прямо на месте шатл с ресорта в Аэропорт Токумен за 27 дол с человека, что вполне сносно. Экскурсии мы все сделали, еще когда жили в Панама сити. Самое ближайшее к ресорту - это Антон долина. Там посмотрите рынок сувениров, желтую лягушку в серпентарии, термальные источники (мне еще в первый раз не понравились), подвесные мосты и водопад. Остальные экскурсии будут длолгими, потом что до Панама Сити ехать 2 часа, а они оттуда еще дальше едут. Панамский канал конечно стоит увидеть, если вы фанат кораблей и инженерных конструкций. Но не всех впечатляет. В отеле есть категория Плюс, я бы не брала, только если вы хотите уединиться в отдельном бассейне и баре. Рестораны те же, что и остальным. Royal Decameron Golf, Beach Resort & Villas

Хороший отель - типичный для Центральной Америки. Примерно 1800 комнат, 3 рецепции, 3 больших ресторана, много баров, несколько бассейнов, огромная территория, красивые протяженные песчаные пляжи. Питание разнообразное и качественное. Множество экскурсий, в Панаме есть что посмотреть. Из минусов - долгий перелет, вода в океане только на купание, не для любителей подводного мира. Хороший отель - типичный для Центральной Америки. Примерно 1800 комнат, 3 рецепции, 3 больших ресторана, много баров, несколько бассейнов, огромная территория, красивые протяженные песчаные пляжи. Питание разнообразное и качественное. Множество экскурсий, в Панаме есть что посмотреть. Из минусов - долгий перелет, вода в океане только на купание, не для любителей подводного мира.

Гольф район на тихом океане

Отличный отдых для любителей гольфа, хорошие поля, можно снять большую виллу с бассейном, гольф-мобили на прокат. В будни немного безлюдно, зато тихо и спокойно. Гулять можно разве только по берегу океана. Есть хорошие сувенирные магазинчики с НЕкитайскими товарами. Местные торгуют классными арбузами. Nice views, long walks

Checking in was very well organized and professional, and we were allowed to get into our room ahead of time. We had read in the reviews that the rooms were dated so we were prepared for it. However, even though the drawers didn’t close properly and the doors looked worn we found the tiled floor, the freshly painted wall color and matching curtains quite charming. We overlooked the eastern end of the property and a little island close to the shore. We were not prepared for the dimensions of this resort. Walking from our room (1511) to the restaurant for lunch took not only 10 minutes but involved a steep descent. We had to walk 96 steps down to the beach on the shortest way from our room, and getting back up was obviously worse. We understand that there is an internal shuttle service which we didn’t use. It really gets bad when it's raining, as you are exposed to the elements. Because there were not many guests many venues were closed or opened in a revolving scheme. We had to make breakfast and lunch reservations a day in advance and the dinner reservation on the same day. The available restaurants were announced when the reservation was made. Also the opening hours of the bars would change without notice or towel stations would be closed. This got annoying as we never knew where we could even get a cup of coffee at certain times of the day trying to avoid going down- and uphill again. We think that the management lacked organization skills. Upon arrival we had received a map and instructions but unfortunately only in Spanish. We found it very confusing in the first couple of days with contradicting information especially with quite a few staff members not speaking English. Everybody was very friendly though. All the grounds were very well kept, and we enjoyed the endless beach with the fine sand and the fact that there was plenty of space everywhere with the exception of the adult pools which either were closed or filled with a number of kids. The restaurants looked as if they had been newly renovated and very inviting with the open seating. Breakfast and lunch were offered as buffets and rather average, so was the snack shack by the beach with quite a limited choice. We found that the dinner menus were repeated even though we ate in different restaurant during our 7 days stay. They ranged from excellent to mediocre. The selection of desserts was very limited and not attractive. We could watch and hear the daily shows from our room. We are not interested in these performances but noticed that they had dancers for 4 nights in a row. We wouldn’t choose this hotel in a peak season and not for 7 days, but for 3 or 4 nights it would be alright. Solo female travel

I went to Panama because I had always wanted to see the Panama canal, when the airport in Rio Hato opened I seized my chance. Booked for ten days as solo, yes I did up grade to excellence but for the small price difference it was well worth it., private lobby private pools and all the a la carte you could possibly want. Housekeeping was great, my key took some jiggling to open the door but it didn't bother me one day a maid saw me having problems and called front desk ,it was fixed immeadatly. All staff were great and we had many laughs over my broken Spanish. Food was wonderful though resturants were not well marked but I found my way with alot of smiles and hand gestures. I took a day long tour of the canal and also the Anton valley booked through the hotel both were great. I loved it so much that as soon as we can travel again ( I'm from Canada, no travel yet) I am going back to show my partner the same resort, after spending the last year doing research I'm looking to retire there in 5 years ( I'm 60 now lol) in a small town called Pedasi. Very Disappointing

The best thing about this resort was dinner by the ocean. The rest of our visit was pretty bad. First our TV did not work. We asked for a replacement and their response was we will give you another room, after we unpacked. I suggested another TV would be an easier solution. Didn't happen. Strike one. The rooms we were given were on top of a large very steep hill. A mountain goat would have done well. No golf carts or on site shuttle service. Going to eat was a chore. Walking down the hill every day to eat, after a required reservation each morning for breakfast lunch and dinner. One visit and the same time each day would have been much easier. The restaurants were what would be several blocks of walking to get to. At least 3 trips down and back up the really steep grade. For our last day lunch was a disaster. My girlfriend found a grease soaked napkin in her chicken. Needless to say It took away our appetite's. To sum it up the restaurants were way to far away from our rooms, the walking seemed endless, no golf carts for those of us that are older, no on site shuttle either. One or the other would have worked well. By the time you walked up and down the steep hill 3 or 4 times, too tired to want to do anything. I for one will NEVER go back to this place. Oh yes, room service would have been nice too. The phones did not even have markings for the front desk. If you are thinking about visiting La Playa Blanca, avoid this poorly managed resort. The place are located right on the beach of Pacific ocean with view right to the small island , Costa Blanca each morning you can see the fisherman around and near by at short distance is a small village.and you can walk to see the villa of gen.Noriega controversial drug dealer in goverment in 90'. Large amount of rain in Nov. and Dec. but always suny and hot.
