Clean, but Tiny

The Alpenrose Condominiums were clean and cozy. The locate was not too far of a distance (walking or driving) from the main Breckinridge street. Our only complaint would be the size of the 2-bedroom unit. It is listed as being able to accommodate 6 adults. While this is possible because there is a queen bed, two twin beds, and a pull out bed, space-wise it is not ideal for 6 people. The rooms are small. The bathroom is small. It’s suitable for a small family like my family of 5 (4 adults/1 toddler), but we would have preferred more space. The Alpenrose Condominiums were clean and cozy. STEER CLEAR

My family of 5 go to Breck once or more times a year and have always loved it here. The hospitality is typically wonderful and welcoming. But steer clear this place and invest your money in something better. The lady who answered the phone at the front desk (her name may be Jill? We read TERRIBLE reviews on here about her) is rude and less than helpful, she was even a smart ass to me multiple times. Owner is rude and in zero rush to help with any issues regarding the unit. Units are mediocre at best. The gentleman on the phone, assuming the manager or owner, was adamant about Covid guidelines/cleanliness, even quoting some CDC guidelines, but the ladies cleaning brought 2 children under 5, who were in the room the entire time, no mask, children sitting all over the beds prior to our arrival. Doesn’t seem like that would follow CDC guidelines...Go elsewhere please. I never leave reviews but I am leaving a review for this location on each platform I can find them on. Thanksgiving nightmare

Not a good place to spend Thanksgiving this year! The kitchen drain backed up, the garbage disposal didn't work, only 2 of the four burners on the stove worked and the dishwasher leaked!! Tiny kitchen, too! Not a good place to spend Thanksgiving this year! Sooo Small

Should have been listed as small studio unit. We literally had to side-step around the bed. The shower had no water pressure and the sink had no counter space. The furniture in the unit was comfortable. Should have been listed as small studio unit. We literally had to side-step around the bed. Nice but a little clarification...

As many have said, this facility is in a great location for either walking to downtown (parking can be a real hassle in Breck) or getting to the slopes - a little longer walk, but definitely doable and nice to avoid parking or busses. If neither of these are important, then you'll probably find a better value/sq ft a bit further away. The "clarification" comment refers to our condo being listed as two-bedroom, one queen and two twins. The two twins were BUNK BEDS WITH NO LADDER. I'm a pretty spry 63 year old, but my vertical leap isn't what it used to be. I brought in a chair from the living room, that I put next to the dresser so I had a reasonable set of steps. The dresser, however, could no longer be used because it had to be moved sideways - or the door couldn't be shut (yep, the room is that small.) I called about getting a ladder and got a helpful and pleasant response that maintenance would bring one. When none showed up, I called again and was told by another person that he didn't believe ladders were available for the bunk beds. I honestly wonder if that is a liability issue? Everything else was clean and reasonable as others have mentioned.
