большая красивая территория отеля и очень доброжелательный персонал
мы были там в начале февраля. Создавалось впечатление, что мы не просто первые русские в этом отеле, но даже просто европейцы там не бывают. В этом вся прелесть этого места. Мы попали в окружение настоящей индии. Мы гуляли по деревне, знакомились с местным население. катались на тук-туке и соседний городок за фруктами, гуляли вдоль Ганга, побывали в нескольких школах, присутствовали на вечеринках в отеле. Туда приезжают на корпоративы коллективы из Калькутты. Похоже мы стали звездами индийского ютуба. все мечтали с нами сфотографироваться. Если мы хотели поехать на океан или в Калькутту, нам организовывали такси, что в принципе недорого. Езда на такси это отдельное удовольствие мы были там в начале февраля. My baby's first trip
Had a pleasant stay with my family including my 9month old daughter. The staffs were very helpful to make it comfortable for her including her paddle boat ride. Special mention - Manoj, Arup, Jayanta who were very helpful Pros: 1. Beautiful river biew from rooms and the dining hall 2.beautifully decorated lawns with lotus garden and well maintained garden 3. Paddle boating water lane 4. Old fort feel with lots of old artifacts on display 5. Tasty food Cons: 1. Bit slow service specially the good took 60mins to get served Had a pleasant stay with my family including my 9month old daughter. It wasn't very enjoyable. We shifted from our original room cause the quality was very bad. Even after shifting the food wasn't
We booked the apartment first and it was in a really bad condition. There was an insect within the bed covers and the walls had cracks. The food there was good and the quantity was nice as well along with the staff's behaviour. We shifted to the Ffort and the room was nice. However the food quantity was ridiculously little. It wouldn't even satisfy one person. The quality was bad as well. Overall experience wasn't so good and could definitely be better We booked the apartment first and it was in a really bad condition. Complaint & Compliment
I stayed for 2 nights in 2BR Villa recent weekend with my family and has a lot to share. COMPLAINTS 1st: Villa is new but not maintained. Once we opened the door, a lizard welcomed us. Villa had damp smell, as if not used or opened in months. Later found that most of walls had damp and 1 picture is enclosed. Most of sockets are loose and not working properly. Exhaust fan of ground floor started noise and had to switch off. Though there is pantry (Kitchenette) but there are no utensil, cutlery, stove, oven. Only one refrigerator. Backyard is never cleaned. Full of fallen leaves from tree, even plunge pool had lot of leaves and many tiles broken / lost from pool. I booked 1 night with BF, Lunch & Dinner buffet. Lunch & Dinner were horrible. Small spread of items and taste was nothing great and food was cold, overcrowded restaurant. COMPLIMENTS NOW: 2nd night was booked with BF only. A-La-carte food is delicious, served hot. We ordered for Room service and always food arrived hot. Staff are very courteous, respectful and ready to help in all possible way. Once a good hotel, now lost its charm
Apart from the location which is just besides the River, the standards are falling pretty fast. 1. Rooms need urgent renovation, furnitures are dated 2. Toilet fittings are in a very bad shape. There is a slippery bath-tub and no shower cubicle which is quite inconvenient to the senior citizens 3. AC ducts bring a bad smell may be due to lack of cleaning 4. Overall property shows signs of neglect and decay 5. Food quality/tastes in the Reflection restaurant has also fallen over the years. 6. Not sure whether the staff are underpaid, saw lot of trainees doing regular work (they are trying their best and they are quite courteous but they also need guidance occasionally which is absent) 7. The elevator to the Reflection restaurant malfunctioning forcing senior citizens to climb the stairs which is truly inconvenient. 8. The Orient restaurant was also closed during our visit 9. Ponds are dirty and seems cost-cutting has taken its toll 10. Shortage of staff impacted the Golf Cart service between Ffort and Ganga Kutir Receptionists and House-keeping staff are helpful. Restaurant boys are also good. The place needs fresh investment in terms of infrastructure renewal. Otherwise, its an overpriced and poorly maintained place just surviving on the mercy of River Ganges Apart from the location which is just besides the River, the standards are falling pretty fast. 1. Poor hospitality - unexpected behavior of staff
I stayed with my mom, husband and sister from Oct 16th'21 - Oct 17th '21 , I booked a Fort Vila and expected a fabulous stay as I read handful of good reviews in trip advisor. After reaching we check in in our Vila No -803, misery started 1) so less staff was there that we had to carry our suitcases and luggage on our own head from lobby to our vila 2) on the 2nd floor non of the windows had proper latch , so anyone from outside could come and enter with any intention 3) we ordered lunch which reached after 1.5 hours , we ordered 3 plates of Rice, which appeared not even sufficient for one person, then we ordered Rotis, the person on phone yelled at me and said why I did not order all items together. Getting scolded by Hotel staff is not acceptable when you are spending 30-35k for a night , and I have not experienced anything like that ever 4) then at Dinner time the worst experience I received by some staff named RAJIB, we were eating buffet, I went to take soft drink and was waiting in the counter for 10 minutes, That Rajib , kept on serving all who came even much later than me, and even served drinks to their table, but may be seeing me a female/ girl he ignored , later when I asked , he refused, he said badly that he is occupied stared inappropriately , then I left and asked other waiter to get drink served at table, later when I confronted him , he was not even ready to say sorry. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels in India and abroad, never had such bad experience with any waiter. 5) it was my husband's birthday, we ordered cake, they just kept the cake at table, not even had any gesture for celebration, which is common practice in other restaurants, It was expected that they'll at-least clap to make the ambience while cutting cake. 6) at last we booked cab ( Innova) from their reception as we had to catch flight, they charged three times the market price , we did not have an choice as flight was there, but when driver reached , we got to know they did not even clarified to driver where to drop and as we paid entire rental of cab at reception, we could not even ask driver to drop at the location for which we paid. I was horrible experience , and very disappointing, The resort's administration should know that if they are charging 35k from a customer per night, the customer should expect better hospitality, which is totally absent there. The ill mannered staff especially that Rajib should be taken care of by the administration , they should train their staff to behave.
