A Pleasant Stay with Hubby

If you're up for anything and have an imaginative outlook in life, then I guess you'll enjoy this old hotel.. It gave us the "Shining" horror movie vibe but in a good way. The place is really old and outdated BUT it was clean and has these homey vibe. I hope they will renovate because it has lots of potentials. I like how the sun shines in their place, the random cows grazing at their front. Their pool is nice too. We had a good night sleep so over-all it was a pleasant stay for us. Not Happy Camper

Empty hotel/resort scary. No amenities. Outside areas and common grounds are dirty. Looking forward for a week and nice atmosphere resort but we ended up very disappointed. The Unexpected

This place needs a complete renovation., a total makeover, a new management!!! The place looks like a haunted mansion. I is a nightmare. TV does not even work! There is nothing to do in and around. Transportation is not easily accessible. This place needs a complete renovation., a total makeover, a new management!!! The place looks like a haunted mansion. I is a nightmare. TV does not even work! There is nothing to do in and around. Transportation is not easily accessible.

Need of an update/maintenance

My family and I stayed here for a week in 2 two bedroom apartments on the top floor booked through RCI timeshare’s recommendation. It is located next to a field with cows roaming around as well as numerous stray dogs. The hotel is in dire need of a renovation, apparently it is only 20 years old although the apartments we stayed in looked far much older than that. The hallway corridor looked like something out of the move “The Shining”. I was half expecting little twin girls to be at the end of the hallway and give me a heart attack. Our door to the apartment needed a good push to even enter it. There are cracks in the ceiling. The furniture is old, you can see that there was not one piece of furniture that didn’t have a chip in it and it was furniture you would see at an olden day house. Housekeeping didn’t do a good job in cleaning the rooms as there was still dirt and dust on the floors. The fridge is old, falling apart and smelt bad upon opening it, although did do it’s job of keeping our food and drinks cold but needed a few more shelves. The hotel provided the necessities for us which is how it should be when staying at an apartment. One night my fiancé went to get a drink from the kitchen and a little lizard jumped on his back, made for a good laugh but is really unacceptable to find in a hotel. The showers were terrible, it was a hit and miss. You either got a freezing cold shower or a steaming hot one and the water pressure was weak. To get extra towels you have to pay 100php. The laundry service is quite expensive as it is charged 50php per shirt and that is only if it gets washed and not pressed. Pressing is an extra 45php on top of that per garment. We looked on the balcony ledge and there is poo on there. Not sure how it got there but it is a disgusting sight when you want to look at the view. There are so many things that the hotel needs to maintain and update but I guess you get what you pay for. There is no wifi in any of the rooms, you have to go down to the hotel lobby and use the wifi and even then the connection is weak. You’d think in this day and age there would be wifi in your room but no. The pool is in dire need of maintanence and the jacuzzi does not work. We also ate at the hotel’s bistro and we didn’t have a good experience. We ordered tuna sandwiches and there was no tuna, only mayonnaise and upon opening our sandwich, there were ants in it!! We also ordered fried chicken and it came to us burnt. I don’t recommend eating there. The positives were that the staff was accommodating when needed and bed was comfortable. I really hope that hotel reads the reviews and takes it upon themselves to make some changes to their hotel. If we were to come back to Tagaytay, we would probably be staying elsewhere. Hell Hole!!!!

I had two week rental with this Hell Hole....didn't know anything, my mistake. Stay 3 days out of 2 wks...lost all my money!! but still got out of there soon I found another place to stay. Please don't go there for any reason. You can find better place and better location. Don't even go to near that place... stray dogs around and cows out side of this HELL HOLE!
